Chapter 26

"I needed him to hear me."

"Him?"

Jack just ignored me. He stood there just waiting for something to happen. A few minutes had passed. I don't know what he's waiting for but I'm tired of standing out here. There's creepy crawlies everywhere. I'd bust out in tears if a spider was on me. I just want to go back to the cabin. I started to hear something in the distance. It was coming closer to us. It sounded like.... an animal charging at us. I was starting to feel afraid. It kept getting closer and closer and closer. I looked behind me. I could see a black void coming near. I stared at it for a while. It was humongous. I hid behind Ej frightened by the beast. Ohhh it was his pet. Ej started walking closer to it. "Here boy, here boy."

There he stood. Seedeater. He was 6 feet tall. Just a foot under Ej. Ej walked him over to me. "You can climb on top of him. I can't have you slowing me down because of your leg."

"Ok then." Seedeater crouched on the ground on all fours. I climbed onto his back. I pulled my arms around his head. It was really weird being on him. This was a literal monster. He had no real face but it was made out of bone and there were 2 holes for eyes. I tried not to stare so much. Ej then pulled out his blue mask from his pocket and put it on his face. He took the Eye of Providence from around his neck. I guess he wanted to go back to his demon form. He walked behind a tree while he transformed. I could hear him grunting he sounded like he was in pain a little. When he was done he walked back over and already there was black goop dripping from the eye holes of his mask.

"Ready. Set. Go." As soon as he said that Seedeater pounced. They raced through the forest. I was holding on as tight as I could. He didn't even give me a warning about this. They were super fast. I could feel the breeze hitting my face. Seedeater dodged all the trees and bushes in the way. This was amazing. I wonder if they were to race a cheetah would they win. All of a sudden I heard gunshots. I ducked my head. What was that!? I heard it again. I realized whoever was shooting wasn't shooting at us. It was off in the distance. Soon Seedeater and Ej stopped. Ej nodded at Seedeater. Seedeater then turned around. I couldn't see what was happening anymore. I guess Seedeater made sure of that. I could hear Ej's scalpel going into something's body. He struck it again and again and again. I heard leaves moving constantly from one side behind me to another. I guess he's dragging the animal to the other side.

"Ok get off of him now." I climbed off of Seedeater and Seedeater walked over to where Ej was. I couldn't exactly see what was going on though. They were behind a tree. I could see them eat something that was on the ground. How weird. I turned back around to give them their privacy.

I saw on the ground there was a rifle. This could've been what was shooting in the air. Why isn't there anyone here with the gun? I then saw a deer a few feet away with a bullet through its neck and back. If this is the deer then what did Ej catch. Ugh things are too confusing around here.

After a few minutes Ej and Seedeater walked back over to me. "You didn't even think to cook the deer?"

"I don't like my food that way."

"You're going to get salmonella if you keep doing that."

"Don't tell me what to do, Kapoor."

I just rolled my eyes. This boy better not fall asleep close to me I just might stab him in his sleep. He pisses me off so much. Seedeater kneeled down on the ground so I could climb on top of on him. I got on as Ej started running through the woods.

We finally reached the cabin. We were behind the forest line so Mia won't see Seedeater. Ej put back on the Eye of Providence and walked behind a tree. While we were waiting for him I began talking to Seedeater.

"Thankyou for carrying me. You're very strong and fast. Plus you beat Ej in the race even when he cheated the second time. I used to be scared of you but now you don't look that scary. You're just big and unique." He walked closer to me and licked the blood off of my leg from the cut I got from the thorn bush. "Awwwwe thankyou Seedeater." He wagged his long tail and walked closer to me. He lowered his head in a submissive way. I started to pat him on his head. His tail started wagging even faster. "Good boy, good boy." He rolled over and I scratched his tummy. It was a little hard. His body was very long.

Ej began walking back from behind the tree. "What are you doing to him?!"

"I'm just playing with him. He's not your property Ej."

Ej growled. The growl was so terrifying that Seedeater rolled back over and stood up straight.

"Go back home Seedeater." Said Ej.

Seedeater began running back into the forest. "Byeeeeeeee" I said. Ej put his mask in his pocket and we walked back to the cabin. 

We entered the cabin. It was very quiet. The tv wasn't on and Mia wasn't in the living room. I looked back and Ej was no longer there. Oh no. Did something happen? Did someone kidnap Mia? And where did Ej go that quickly? My heart began to race. What if the creepypastas enemies came. Liu and Nina wouldn't do this. It had to be their family.

I became relieved when Ej walked back in. "C'mon". I really overreacted. I walked behind him. He walked over to the outside of the cabin and looked in. It was my bedroom. Mia was on the other side trying to say something. She kept signaling that someone was in the house. Wait, she pointed at Ej and told him to hide. The front door to the cabin opened. Ej ran behind the cabin. I saw that it was my dad.

"Amor, why are you out here come in." I walked inside the cabin. "Why were you gone without Mia?"

Crap. I need to think of something quick. "I went to the lake to get some alone time."

"Oh ok honey, I just came to check up on you. I'll be back tomorrow." He kissed me on my forehead and left. Mia came back out into the living room.

"Ay ay ay, that was close, Amor." Ej walked back into the cabin. We all sat down on the couch.

"Ok what else can we do today?"

The front door opened. "Oh sorry honey, I left my ke-------. Who the hell is that?!!"
