I had just arrived at the hotel for camp after a long weekend of Army ROTC training in the woods. I had joined Army ROTC as a joke with your soccer team freshman year of college and you both had fallen in love with it. From the field training, to land navigation, to just just hanging out with the other cadets. Now that I were a junior in college it was nearing the time that you would have to choice if you were going to make a career out of it and become an Army Officer. The only problem is that I hadn't let the team, let alone your older sister and girlfriend know that I was considering becoming a soldier. Choosing that would mean putting my soccer career on hold or even ending it.
My thoughts about talking to everyone and trying to decided what I'm going to do in the future left my mind as soon as I enter my hotel room and see Emily.
As smile reached my face as I saw her sprint towards me pull me into a tight hug.
"I've missed you" I heard her mumble in my hair causing me to pull back and pull her into a kiss.
"I've missed you too" I said pulling away from her and dropping my things to the floor before falling on to the bed.
"I'm tired" I mumbled into the pillow as I felt Emily lay on the bed so I cuddled into her chest as I felt her wrap her arms around me.
"Long weekend?" She asked as she rubbed circles on my back
"I spent the whole weekend in the woods training" I said quietly as she didn't respond. She didn't like that I was training with rotc on top soccer. Which means she normally changes the conversation.
"As much as I would like to cuddle with you, Alex will kill us if she doesn't see you tonight"
"No" I whined as I cuddled more into her
"I texted her, she should be here any second"
Within a minute I heard knocking on the door
I pulled myself from Emily and made my way to the door and opening it.
"Hey sis" I replied with a smile as she pulled me into hug
"Are you sick?" She asked pulling away from me and looking at me with concern
"Just tired" I replied causally as she looked at me with disapproval which I ignored as I flopped down on the bed next to Emily and cuddling into her side who instantly wrapped her arms around me again.
"Hows college been?" She asked sitting on the other bed
"Good, I should be able to keep my 4.0 again this semester" I said with smirk as Alex rolled her eyes and I heard Emily mumbled "okay, miss smarty pants" cause me to lift my head to give her a quick kiss.
"Gross, I'm going to leave before I see anything I don't want to see" Alex said causing me and Emily to laugh
"Goodnight Alex" I said before the door shut
I shut my eyes as I snuggled further to into Emily and took in her warm that I missed.
"Go to sleep, your going to need it" she said
"I love you em" I said as I fell asleep
"Love you too" I heads before I was out

The game ended and I was pulled away for media.
"Hello (y/n), you played amazing game with an assist for your sister and a hat trick for you"
"Thank you, couldn't do it with out my teammates" I said with a tired smile
"Speaking of your teammates, how do they feel about you considering joining the Army?" She asked and I felt like a deer caught in highlights but do my best to keep a calm appearance
