Another episode. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE

---------------------------------------------------------

"C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" I urge, dragging Mari behind me. She was late so I had to go get her and now we're late for class.

I pull her up the stairs, just making it through the doors as a teacher closes it and book it to the classroom.

When we enter, Ms. Bustier isn't there and everyone is sitting in different seats. What is happening? Adrien is sitting by himself. Alya and Nino are behind him. Alix and Nate are behind them and Rose and Juleka are in the back row. On the other side, Sabria and Chloe are in the front, my original seat is occupied by Ivan and Mylene. Behind them is Kim and Max and then two empty seats in the back row. Seriously, what's happening?

"Yo, Agretse," I call out to him. "Why are you sitting alone? And why is the seating arrangement all fucked?"

He rolls my eyes at the swear and goes to answer me but Alya beats him to it. "Well, since she has a hearing problem she can't sit in the back," she explains. "So we changed the seating arrangement to accommodate her disability."

"It's only fair," Nino adds.

"Who's 'she'?" I ask.

My question is answered by Ms. Bustier walking in. "Welcome everyone! As I'm sure you heard, Lila is back from her trip to Atchoo and she is back in school with us again."

Lila walks in looking devious as ever and I instantly scowl. "Hi, everyone!" She greets. Everyone but Mari and I greet her back. Yeah, we no like her. Lila notices the front row seat. "Oh, a seat in the front row! You all remembered my hearing issue. You're such sweethearts, all of you. Muah! Muah!" She blows kisses to us. While the others gratefully accept her affection I pretend to grab the kiss and throw it to the ground. Mari holds her hand to her mouth to cover a snigger.

She sits down but I stay where I am, arms crossed. "I didn't know you had a hearing issue, Lila," I say to her.

"Yes," she answers. "I suffer from tinnitus, a constant ringing in my left ear. I've had it ever since an airplane engine burst my eardrum on the runway when I was saving Jagged's kitten."

The others' eyes fill with wonder at her story but mine remain in a bitch face. "I'm not even gonna ask what you were doing on the runway in the first place," I comment flatly. "But I am gonna ask you this. Isn't Jagged's pet a crocodile?" I raise a brow.

"Now it is, yes," she says as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. "But he had a kitten before he realized he was allergic to it."

Ignoring the 'awe's the other students gave her, I turn to Ms. Bustier with an I'm-done-with-life expression. "Ms. Bustier, why were Mari and I chosen to be seated at the back?"

"Well, do either of you have a hearing or sight problem?" She asks. Yeah, I have to look and listen to what Lila says now; I consider that a problem.

Suddenly Adrien stands up. "My eyesight and hearing are good. I can sit in the back while one of them sits in the front with Lila," he offers.

Both Mari and Lila shout "NO!" while I say "What?" This kid, I swear to God.

Lila suddenly becomes saddened, although I can clearly see the fakeness behind it. "My return is causing too much trouble," she sighs. "Maybe I should have stayed on the other side of the world."

I groan loudly making everyone look at me. "Oh my God, I was just asking why Mari and I got stuck in the back, I wasn't complaining about it," I tell the class but mostly Lila. "But if you're gonna make a big pity scene about it then forget it. Let's just take our seats, shall we, babe?" She nods quickly and follows me to the back row. Ms. Bustier clearly has no idea how to react to what I said and everyone is staring at me. "Well? The bell's rung, class has started, chop chop."
