Brielle POV

I woke up early in the morning as always, sitting up in bed and just taking a second to just wake up some as I do every morning.

I wake up a princess, I go to bed tonight a queen... wow that was poetic even for an inner though but oh my gods it's coronation day I gotta get going.

I jumped up out of bed, walking over to my bathroom, and splashing water in my face to get my head in the game. Yes it's my coronation and yes that's wonderful but today might be a key point for multiple reasons. I had to get everything together before all of the servants came in to help me get ready. It sounds pretentious but hey if you expect me to get ready for a monumental day in my life by myself then you're dreaming. Not to mention I'm honestly not the handiest with hair and makeup, I'll do it but I'm not the best ya know? Anyway, first things first I texted Ben,

"Meet in my office for last-minute planning yeah?"

I put my phone down and waited for a response as I washed my face for a really clean base. I then brushed out my hair and put it in a normal ponytail and threw on a robe, it was just my brother and I was going to get all dressed up anyway so why put too much effort into my look yet? I brushed my teeth and took a deep breath, looking into the mirror with determined eyes. It was time for some enchanted lake water shots. My phone buzzed,

"Sounds good, see you then!"

I smiled and picked up the water bottle with the precious water and took some smaller glasses from a cupboard in my room. I stole these from the kitchen a while back and just haven't returned them, but they're coming in great and handy right now. I opened the water bottle and poured us both a glass, I had plenty of water left because I took a full water bottle of it so I took a quick drink. It was crisp and bubbly on the tongue, I can tell Ben this is sparkling water and he wouldn't think twice. The water made me feel rejuvenated, more alive. That's just what a girl needs on her coronation. With that I took the glasses and left to my office, getting there mere minutes before Ben who was also not dressed up. He walked in with a bright smile,

"Todays the day"

I smiled back,

"Today is the day, how are you feeling?"

"Oh, I'm jittery, like jumping out of my shoes level jittery. How about you?"

I was nervous, nervous about a few things to be honest but it was too complicated to tell Ben now so I easily avoided that truth,

"I'm excited, a little jittery to I won't lie"

He walked a bit closer and sat down in one of my office chairs as I leaned against my desk,

"You're tense too yeah?"

I looked down at him with a furrowed brow, he's never been right about over observing like that,

"Of course I am, aren't you?"

"Not really, you're a different sorta tense. Like a worried tense"

I side smiled and crossed my arms,

"Since when were you observant enough to pick that up?"

He smiled some more,

"I've been working on it, you know since you're so good at it and I feel like you just notice and know so much more than me when it comes to other people so I've read some books and done some extra people watching"

I leaned forward to pat him on the shoulder,

"Look at that, big kid doing big kid things. Growing up so fast"
