Third Person

I'm so tired of pretending, where's my happy ending?

Late that night, when all the new VKs that would be attending had their tours of Auradon Prep and those who were too young went to their foster homes to get settled, Brielle and Harry had turned down for the night after Brielle did indeed give Harry that much needed back massage she promised him.

But Brielle couldn't sleep, she had a feeling.

A bad feeling.

Something wasn't right and she could feel it, she even tried snuggling into Harry more as he peacefully slept, but not even that worked.

I waited patiently for my time and when it finally came, he called her name.

Brielle wriggled herself out of Harry's warm grip and tiptoed over to her vanity and sat down as she had something on her mind for sure besides that bad feeling. She pulled out an empty scroll and unrolled it and picked up her official feather plume and opened a jar of ink, only used for official documents.

I know exactly who to blame.

Brielle dipped the end of the plume in the ink and adjusted the scroll to let the moonlight from the night sky peering in from her window light the paper. She took a deep breath and began writing.

I never thought of myself as mean, I always thought that I'd be his queen.

Brielle was writing a collection of amendments, a very powerful one at that. She was writing it for future reference, but it was one that would take the barrier down forever and adjust the rules surrounding the treatment of villains and everyone currently on the Isle of the Lost. She wanted to make it to where the villains themselves would be put into appropriate programs and such to become good or at least neutral and their children and those who deserved the good life of Auradon could come over while the villains that couldn't find good would stay on the Isle without feeling trapped with the barrier.

Now there's a devil on my shoulder where the angels used to be, and it's calling me the queen.

Brielle wrote with great purpose, great and worthy amendments coming from her mind as she wrote. After seeing the good in a villain themself she knew she had to bring the barrier down to truly bring the Isle and Auradon together, just like she's always wanted.

Being nice was a past time, but I've been hurt for the last time.

Brielle hasn't written an act or document of this stature so quickly and fluently ever. Every thought came to her within seconds, nothing hindered her. And that is when she does best, when everything comes to her with ease.

They're gonna bow to the Evil Queen, your nightmares my dream. Just wait until the fall to my wicked schemes.
