Brielle POV

"Audrey... hey"

I awkwardly spoke as I what are you really supposed to do when one of your old friends turns complete evil psycho? There is no handbook about how to deal with that,

"Hello Brielle, like the new look?"

Audrey said before doing a spin around the scepter that was held firmly in her grip, its ominous glow radiating from the core of the crystal. I took a deep breath to hide my bits of fear and decided to play it cool, there's a chance her wild eyes didn't want to hurt me,

"I think the darker hair works better... the feathers are nice... uh I don't like the stolen scepter part of the look"

I carefully spoke, not wanting to agitate her. If anything I want to see if I can just talk to her, I've known her since we were little so maybe I can just reason her out of doing whatever she came here to do. She furrowed her brow and slowly walked over to me, a dark cape dragging behind her,

"What do you mean? I think it suits me quite well~"

She sang as she came right up to me like it was nothing. I kept my cool right as my phone began to ring in my hand, I looked down to see it was Harry, probably calling me to make sure I was alright. Audrey laughed at my phone and raised a brow,

"Don't you dare answer that, in fact, you can put your phone down"

I kept my phone gripped in my hand,

"Why? Why would I do that?"

I asked, hoping she wasn't terribly angsty at the moment. She dangerously smirked and quickly took the scepter in both of her hands and pointed it right at me,

"Because I don't think you want to go to sleep, do you?"

Yeah, I don't want to go to sleep so as much as it pained me to see Harry's call go to voicemail I knew I had to. I put my phone on my desk and looked back to her,

"So Aud, wanna explain why you've done all of this?"

She slowly laughed some and put the scepter back down and started slowly circling around me like a shark,

"Brielle, we've known each other for quite some time yeah?"

I nodded,

"Well, we've never really gotten along which is fine but you've always conveniently been there when I need someone the most, until you weren't"

I furrowed my brow and kept looking at her as she circled me,

"Hm?"

I questioned,

"Bri, I think you and I both know some foul play went down when it comes to the recent... royal engagement. Ben was... stolen from me. You were there, he didn't even break up with me while being in his right mind. Then the whole kingdom turned on me, and you... well you Bri didn't seem to care about my feelings when he got engaged"

I turned towards her completely with a furrowed brow,

"Aud to be fair you haven't been too pleasant with me or my boyfriend lately. I have no inclination to be nice to you if you're not nice to me"

Audrey locked eyes with me and slowly raised a brow,

"I have no reason to be nice to anyone, everyone has turned their backs on me. I'm done being so nice, so get used to it Brielle"

I made my expression colder and slowly crossed my arms,

"Alright, then what do you want?"

I coldly responded. Audrey smiled again, but it wasn't her normal smile. It was a cold smile, a dangerous grin,
