Brielle POV

Family day was in a few days and I already knew damn well it was going to be awkward for the VKs seeing as they can't see their family with the rest of Auradon due to... obvious reasons. FG had set up a surprise for them, FaceTiming their family all at once. Whether this is a good idea or a bad one, even I can't predict that.
I decided to hang around when that happened, just because I was truly curious. I stood in the back of the room with a clipboard in hand just so it looked like I was doing something. FG had wrapped up teaching them Remedial Goodness and pulled the TV to the front of the room,
"Children, attention, please. As you may know, family day is coming up very soon and seeing as your parents won't be able to make it because of... distance..."

Harry chuckled while the rest of the VKs looked a little uncomfortable already, oh great here we go,

"... we've set up a little surprise"

FG walked back to the TV and turned it on, immediately all we could see was Maleficent staring into the camera. I had to fight the urge to not laugh at the infamous villains struggle with technology. Mal had straightened up some and looked down at her lap. I put the clipboard and pen I had been using down on one of the back tables and walked up beside where Harry was sitting and put a hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me with a smile and put his hand over mine very discreetly,

"Wait how did we get WiFi there?"

I questioned as I suddenly realized, wasn't there no WiFi on the Isle? I thought thats what one of the main terrible things about the Isle was, no WiFi. FG turned to me,

"Bippiti boppity boo"

She said with a smile,

"Ah alright"

I said simply whilst nodding, I glanced down and something caught my eye. Harry was shading a sketch, one that looked a whole lot like me. My eyes widened at the detail, it was really really impressive. I forced my eyes away from the amazing drawing and looked back up to see Maleficent and the other villains still messing with the camera and trying to figure it out,

"Hold on"

I sighed and marched up to the front, I went to the remote on our end and did some button pressing to do it from our end. I hummed as I did so, eventually the surprise from their end let me know I had fixed it,

"Viola"

I said to myself, it wasn't that hard after all I'm pretty sure they hadn't even turned the laptop on. The VKs came from behind me and I stepped aside,

"Wait! Girl come back here"

I heard Maleficent say once I was off of the cameras view. I furrowed my brow and came back into view in front of Harry,

"Yes?"

"How did you do that?"

She said with narrowed eyes. I decided to be a smartass, I fear no villain thank you very much,

"Well I used the remote over here to turn on your laptop, I dont think you had actually turned it on"

Harry and Jay snorted and looked away from the screen. Maleficent glared at me for a second and backed up to let the rest of the villains see the screen. There sat Maleficent of course, Evil Queen, Jafar, Cruella De Vil, and in the background pacing back and forth was Captain Hook,

"Oh Evie! Its mummy! Oh look how beautiful! Oh you know what they say, the poison apple doesn't fall from the tree"

She said with an awkward wave, that sounded genuine and nice for a villain,
