Listen I had just rewatched Teen Beach Movie when I thought of this song for Brielle. I think it fits her current situation and how she thinks and feels sooooo I went with it :) If you don't know, the song that I use in this chapter is "Falling For Ya" sung by Grace Phipps from the movie Teen Beach Movie, don't sue me pls I obviously don't own the song and all that fun legality stuff :) Now you may continue with the chapter :D

Brielle POV

I turned the corner and immediately leaned against the wall and took a breath. The butterflies mixed with the electric feeling running through my body right now was too much to ignore. I found myself subconsciously smiling again. I wrapped my arms around myself in a hug and realized, this is what I felt like under the potion. 

It was natural this time, meaning the potion didn't even really affect me too much. I still don't know why Ben and I were put under a potion in the first place because conveniently I think we actually feel this way towards the people we were spelled to love and all. But it didn't make sense in my mind, I started to second guess myself.

Maybe I was just feeling weird yesterday, maybe there was no spell. But there has to be, right? I felt different after the cookie and I felt different after coming out of the lake, which has to be final.I shook it off, ignoring my own questions and finally starting to walk again. Jane passed by me, I barely even recognized her. I don't have her in any of my classes so I rarely see her but we're childhood best friends,

"Woah Jane, who even are you?"

I said in a cheery tone. She furrowed her brow,

"Hey Bri, what do you mean?"

I raised a brow with a smile,

"Come on, the hair? Hello? You look gorgeous! It suits you so well"

She smiled and giggled,

"Oh thanks, Mal did it for me..."

She paused and furrowed her brows looking at me,

"... Bri are you blushing right now?"

I took a second to freeze before chuckling,

"Well, probably a little bit still"

Jane lit up,

"Oh my goodness! Who are we talking about?"

She said, practically jumping up and down. I've known Jane for forever and neither of us has ever really had any romantic interests so I can see why she's so excited. I smiled uncontrollably and looked down,

"It's so silly, like its royally silly Jane"

She only smiled wider,

"Love isn't silly! Who is the object of the future queen's affection I must know"

She said, switching to a very proper British accent and standing straighter. I chuckled,

"Oh I dunno, just one of the VKs"

I said, acting like it wasn't a huge deal. Her eyes widened with surprise,

"Really? Oh tell me please the suspense is killing me!"

From the corner of my eye, I spotted a figure walking our way. I turned my head to see Lonnie,

"Hey girls, what's up?"

I looked at her in awe too,

"Lonnie your hair too? It seriously fits both of you so much better than those short do ups"
