Suddenly Tyler ran through the door, "Ah, good, you're here. It was just getting depressing." Rebekah commented.

Tyler stared at his friends with a frown on his face, "What the hell is going on?"

Rebekah turned to them, "Listen to the rules carefully. Stay in the building, no vamp-running in the hallways."

"Vamp-running from what?" Caroline asked as Rebekah turned to Tyler looking him into the eyes compelling him, "Turn."

"What?" Elena asked getting worried.

"He can't, he'll lose control!" Ashley explained.

"That's the whole point. I've exhausted all your knowledge. Now I have the professor to help me find the cure, you're just competition. Whoever finds it first gets to decide what to do with it. Use it, share it, destroy it, save it. I want that to be me."

"But if I turn, I'll kill them." Tyler argued

Rebekah smiled, "Yes, you will. Turn." She commanded before walking out if the library.

In the library Tyler slammed into the bookshelf, causing many books to fall., "Agh! I can fight this!" He breathed heavily falling to the floor.

He crawled over to a table pulling himself up, he grunted as his bones break. Ashley, Caroline, Elena, and Stefan look at him from a distance nit sure what to do.

Tyler slammed his arms on a table, breaking it, "Get them out of here!" Ashley shouted to Stefan.

"What about you?" Caroline asked with worry.

"I can hold him off, Now go!" She shouted as her own eyes started to glow golden.

Stefan, Elena and Caroline ran out of the library while Ashley slammed into Tyler who had almost half turned.

She got in top of him snarling in his face, "You can control it, Tyler. Listen to me!" He tried clawing her face clearly not listening

"Tyler, Look at me if you turn now you hurt Caroline, okay. You won't forgive yourself. You're in control" Ashley yelled at him pinning the guy down.

Tyler seemed to have stopped turning calming down, he breathed heavily letting his head fall on the ground, "I'm so sorry."

"What? No, it's not your fault." Ashley said comforting her friend.

Tyler shook his head as his eyes filled with tears, "Yes, it was. This whole thing...it's all my fault."

"No..." Ashley said shaking her head Tyler started crying, "I should have saved her." He cried while Ashley sat with him consoling her friend.

Next day after Damon was compelled from Kol to kill Jeremy Stefan trapped him into the cellar he was lying there when he heard footsteps, "You coming to snap my neck again? Because I woke up feeling completely un-murderous, and I'm pretty sure that it's safe to set me free." Stefan didn't answer him throwing his brother a vial of blood.
