no idea : don toliver
'first things first let me get that introduction'
my driver stopped outside a huge, grey building. he got out the car and took my bags and opened the black door for me. i stepped out and thanked him, took my bags and walked towards the iron gates.
"good afternoon, name?" the man at the gate asked as i approached him.
"y/n. y/n McKnight" i answered and i saw the slight fear in his eyes as he thought of my father.
he coughed quickly and looked at his clipboard, dragging his pen down to my name and ticking it off before looking back up at me.
"welcome miss McKnight, you're dorm room is number 112. you can drop your stuff off there and then make your way to the great hall where the all the new joiners are" he said and i nodded.
he unlocked the gates and i walked through and saw there were a lot of new people walking around with their luggage too. i managed to find my room and i walked in and saw a girl sitting on one of the beds. a girl i knew.
"jess!" i screamed.
"y/n!" she said hugging me.
"we're roomies" i smiled and she nodded happily.
"i was so scared they'd put me with some random girl" she said breathing a sigh of relief.
"me too omg" i said putting my bags down and sitting next to her.
jessica collado was my best friend. her family and mine were always on good terms as they worked together quite a lot and so me and jess became friends when we were younger. our parents usually went on missions together when we were kids so they'd leave us together to keep each other company. now we're 17 and close as ever. she knows everything about me and i know everything about her, we're each other's other half. when we were told we were both being sent to camp Kingston for our mafia training we were excited but we were worried we'd get split and not be able to stay together. luckily, that didn't happen.
"i think we have to go to the hall or some shit?" she said after we we'd been talking for about 10 minutes.
"yeah, where is it?" i asked.
"no idea"
"okay don toliver let's go find it" i said with a smile and she laughed and took my arm and we left to find it.
after walking around the huge building for like 15 minutes, we finally found ourselves standing outside big double doors with a glass window, showing a hall full off teens. we looked at each other and then quietly slipped in at the back.
"as you are all aware, you're here to learn and practice your skills. while you are here, you must respect each other weather you're part of the same mafia or not. you're all here for the same reason so any disrespect to your peers or your teachers won't be tolerated. any issues your families have between each other is between them and not you. you're not here to fight, you're here to learn how to fight for when you're back outside. any kind of weapons are not to be carried on you at any time, unless you are supervised by a member of staff. anyone who attempts to attack anyone on camp grounds with be sent home with incomplete training. most of you will become leaders of your mafia's one day so this training with be majorly beneficial to you, don't screw it up" the head of the camp rambled on.
