-6 days later-

today was my final day of bed rest and i had finally recovered. my neck had healed and it was just a scar now so it was good.

mattia slept in my room last night so he was getting dressed and i lifted my head to see him putting on his shirt and he saw me looking and smiled and came and kissed me.

"i gotta go now, see you later" he smiled and kissed my head and then left.

a few hours later the sessions had ended and jess was back and i talked with her for a bit and went to the tower.

"hey" mattia smiled coming in as i read my book.

"hi" i replied as he laid his head down on my lap and i played with his hair as i read.

mattia was watching YouTube on my phone while i read as we sat comfortably together.

after 30 minutes mattia looked up at me and i took my eyes off the page to look at him.

"hm?" i asked.

"you got a message" he said showing me my phone.

jordan: 'hey i know we haven't spoken in a while, its been kinda boring here since you left. hope youre okay, if you want we can call later to catch up?'

"whose he?" mattia asked, trying not to seem like he cared but i could tell he did.

"jordans my friend" i lied.

he's my ex but we actually are friends so technically im not lying. saying hes my ex will just make it awkward. we ended on good times like over a year ago, we are friends.

"okay" mattia nodded and i replied to jordan and told him i was a bit busy right now but id call him later.

me and mattia talked for a bit before going to his dorm.

i went to the bathroom and left my phone on the bed and when i came out mattia looked annoyed.

"what?" i asked.

"just friends?" he asked and showed me the notifications from jordan.

jordan: okay that's cool
jordan: look what came up on my sc memories from 2 years ago today😭

i looked at the phone and then at mattia who looked quite annoyed.

"okay we dated 2 years ago, but we broke up on good terms and we really just are friends now" i told him.

"does he know we're together?"

"no todays the first time we've spoken since i came here"

"why did you lie?" he asked.

"i thought it would be less awkward"

"well its more awkward that ive just seen a picture of you together after you told me he was your friend"

"okay well you know now, can we not make this an big deal"

"not make it a big deal that your ex still likes you?"

"he doenst wtf"

"please why else is he sending old pictures of you guys together"

"because we're past that and its funny to look back on"

"or he wants you back"

"shut up stop jumping to conclusions" i said getting annoyed.

"im not jumping to conclusions the guy literally sent a picture of you in his lap!"

"that doesn't mean anything it was just on his sc memories and he sent it, you're being annoying"

"what im being annoying because im calling you out for lying to me about your ex!"

"can you just shut up about it"

"no, can you learn to accept when you're in the wrong instead of being fucking stubborn" he said in an annoyed tone and he grabbed his room keys and left.

i rolled my eyes and sat on the bed. hes so annoying. okay i should have just told him but still there was no need for an argument.

whatever.

i got changed and jess came back and jordan called me so i answered.

"hey" i smiled.

we talked for a few minutes and it was nice.

"so how's everything over there?" he asked me.

"good, i got a boyfriend so thats fun" i smiled and he smiled too.

"ayy finally" he clapped and i laughed.

"you'll never guess who asked me out" he said.

"no way- really??" i asked looking at his face.

"keira asked you outttttt" i laughed and he smiled.

"she did" he nodded with a big smile on his face.

"thats so cute, how long has it been"

"only like 2 weeks" he said.

"awwh congrats! tell her i said hi!" i said because me and keira became friends after me and jordan broke up and she confessed that she really liked him but she didnt know he was my ex but then she found out and felt so bad but i told her it was okay and i didn't mind. im happy, i knew they'd be cute sjfjje.

"i will" he smiled.

we talked some more before we had to go. it was nice catching up with him.

me and jess talked some more before kairi came to walk her down to dinner and i went down after them.

kairi said mattia was showering so he was gonna be late so i ate before he got there and then went up to my room.

later on eliza and jess came back up and we watched a movie and then fell asleep.
