i woke up and realised i wasnt in my bed. i was about to panic but i felt mattia's arms around me and breathed out in relief. i looked at him sleeping and he looked so cute. he held me all night. he let my cry into his chest for the whole day yesterday. how am i meant to hate him when he's so good to me. i have no reason to hate him. i just hate his family.

i moved slightly and his grip tightened, pulling me closer to him.

"mm go back to sleep" he mumbled and i smiled and allowed myself to fall back asleep.

-mattia's pov-

i woke up at 7:45 am and turned off my alarm so it wouldn't go off. i looked over at y/n who had fallen asleep again. her hair had fallen onto her face and her hands were holding my arm.

i moved her hair slightly and she moved her head and opened her eyes after a few seconds.

she looked up at me and i felt my stomach flutter as she gave me a small smile and rubbed her eyes.

"good morning" i said to her.

"morning mattia" she mumbled and cuddled back into my arm.

"you feeling better today?" i asked.

"yeah" she said and then looked at me, "thank you" she added and i kissed her head.

she didnt need to thank me for anything.

"what time is it" she asked as she sat up and crossed her legs under the blanket.

"7:52" i told her and sat up as well.

"i think kairi and jess were in your room last night so we should get back before they realise we didn't come back" she said and i nodded.

we got up and folded the blankets.

"mattia" she said and i turned around.

"hm?"

she came closer to me and kissed me quickly. i couldn't help but smile and kiss her back for a second before we had to go.

she went to her dorm and i went to mine quickly and she was right, kairi and jess were laying in his bed fast asleep.

i quickly got in the shower and when i came out jess had left and kairi was getting changed.

"yo where did you go last night-" kairi smiled.

"sorry kai ill tell you later i gotta go" i said and he laughed and shook his head and i left to go to y/ns room so we could walk together.

-y/n pov-

jess wasn't here when i got back so i quickly went to the bathroom and got ready. i came out and she was sitting on her bed smiling at me.

"so where were you last night" she smirked and i smiled remembering i was in mattia's arms. why am i smiling.

"uhhh" i laughed.

"spillll"

"i slept with aiden" i lied. i didnt know what else to say, i couldn't just tell her me and mattia spent the night in our secret tower-

"OMG WAIT REALLY" she screamed excitedly.

"yes" i nodded. gross.

"how was it??? omg"

"um good?" i said uncertainly.

after a minute i couldve sworn i heard footsteps fading away from our door but i wasnt sure.
