'you make me make bad decisions'

"can we go to the store i want snackss" jess said as we laid on des's bed.

"mhm i'm hungry too" des said so we all got up and left.

it was like 9pm so it was dark as we drove. we got to the store and bought some snacks and drinks and jess's phone rang and she put it on speaker. 

one of her friends were having a party right now and she told us to come. we didn't have any other plans so we said yes and didn't bother changing , we looked fine. 

her friend didn't know about the mafia shit so that meant the party was a normal teen one. it's nice to not worry about running into your enemies at parties. 

we got to the house and we could hear the music front outside. we all walked in together and we got to the the kitchen and found jess's friend and said hey to her. des and jess got a drink and i got a water because i didn't feel like drinking. 

des was talking to a guy and then i saw jess stare at a guy from across the room. i looked at where she was looking and my eyes travelled to kairi standing alone and drinking his drink. her eyes practically melted. 

i took her hand and we walked over to him and he looked so happy.

"YOU GUYS?? I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN AGES" he yelled happily as he hugged us. 

lol we saw you yesterday when we were breaking in.

"how have you been kai?" jess asked and he smiled.

"i've been okay , i missed you though" he said and jess blushed.

"did the other 2 come?" i asked.

"yeah ale is upstairs with eliza and mattia-"

"oh don't worry , me and mattia um are on the way to working things out i think" i said and he looked confused.

"you guys are getting back together?" he asked.

"he wants to but i won't let him back that easily" i told him and he frowned.

"what?" i asked him.

"i'm glad you're not letting him back that easily but" he said but paused.

"but what?" i asked and i saw him look behind me and frown and so did jess. 

so i turned around. 

and saw him with his arm around a girls waist. he smiled as they talked and then he kissed her before she went to get a drink. 

the way i'm going to kill him.

he must have seen kairi and so he came over and then looked surprised when he saw me and jess standing there. 

"y/nnnn" he smiled , "i guess i didn't have to wait that long to see you after all" he joked and i glared at him. 

"hey jess" he said to her and she glared at him too.

"kai?" he asked and kairi also glared at him.

"what did i do??" he asked and i was about to say something before the girl came back and hugged on his arm and his face dropped when he realised. 

"baby are you okay?" she asked him and he looked like he wanted to die. good.

"uh yeah" he said uncertainly.

"hi , i'm mattia's girlfriend , Scarlett" she smiled at me and jess. 

i looked up at him and closed my fist and kept my cool.

"hi , i'm y/n" i said to her.

"jess" jess added.

"so how do you know mattia?" she asked me.

well he's in love with me⁉️

"oh i don't" i shrugged and he looked sad for a second.

jess told her we knew kairi that's why we were here. 

"yeah i'm gonna go" i said and walked outside while jess and kairi talked. 

i saw des flirting with a guy and smiled at her as i walked past and she smiled back. i walked into the garden and went into the corner where there weren't many people. i rolled my eyes as i saw mattia kiss scarlett again before coming out into the garden looking for me. 

he walked over to me.

"don't say a fucking word , i'm so done with you" i said before he could open his mouth.

"y/n it's not like that i swear-" 

"you have a whole girlfriend mattia! and you were about to cheat on her yesterday , what the fuck??" 

"i missed you and i wanted anyone so i started dating her , i swear she doesn't mean anything" 

"you're a fucking dickhead , why would you put her through that?? are you that desperate?" i snapped at him. 

"i'm sorry! i just missed you" 

"you should be sorry to her you asshole! why the fuck would i want to be with someone who was going to cheat on his girlfriend without a second thought??" 

"i wouldn't ever cheat on you , you know that" 

"but you were going to cheat on her?" 

"yeah but she's not you. i love you , i don't love her" 

"cheating is cheating you prick , i don't wanna be with someone like that , not to mention the other shit you were meant to be sorry for" 

"but i really am sorry y/n , i fucked up and i know that. but i would never even think about cheating on you i swear. and i still want to prove that i'm sorry for what happened at camp" 

"how? by pretending you don't have a girlfriend?" 

"i'm sorry" 

"go tell her that and leave me alone" i said and walked past him and jess saw me and she grabbed des and we said bye to kairi and left.

i told them what happened outside and they were both mad too. 

"why does he always have to be with someone? why is he so desperate for a girl?" jess rolled her eyes.

"and why does he think cheating is okay?" des said.

"apparently it was because he loves me and not scarlett but she's still his fucking girlfriend so what sense does that make" i said in annoyance. 

"he's stupid and he doesn't deserve you" jess said.

"agreed" des added.

"how was things with kairi?" i smirked at jess.

"oo yes i saw you blushing" des smiled.

"we had a nice catch up. i missed him" she said.

"he missed you too clearly" i said and she smiled.

we got back to des's house for a sleepover and we changed and laid in bed.

except i couldn't fall asleep. 

he was on my mind.
