'she said what you know bout love? i got what you need'

i left for training this morning and took the long route to the shooting range becuase i needed to fill up my water bottle. i got to the water fountain and there was a guy there using it so i waited until he was done.

"oh sorry, here" he said when he noticed me waiting.

it was the maverick boy eliza had told us about yesterday. he really was cute.

"thanks" i nodded and started filling my bottle up.

"you're pretty, what's your name?" he said and i looked up at him.

"thanks, im y/n mcknight" i smiled at him.

god its so funny watching people get scared by my name.

"woah a mcknight?" he asked.

"yeah, what about you" i asked like i didn't already know.

"aiden, uh maverick" he said realising everyone knew how unloyal his family was.

"yeah i know the mavericks dont have the greatest reputation" he added.

"you bring it upon yourselves" i laughed and and he just shook his head and laughed a bit too.

"so where's your session now?" he asked.

"shooting range" i replied.

"great, im a couple rooms down so we can walk together?"

"sure" i said and we started walking and talking a bit. he was okay. kinda boring but not draining.

we got to the shooting room first so he said bye before the teacher saw and i walked in and saw mattia staring at me.

"you're late" he said.

late by 3 minutes shut the fuck up.

"you were 20 minutes late to our first session" i rolled my eyes.

"you walked here with him?" he asked and i guess he must have seen him when i opened the door.

"yeah" i shrugged.

he didnt say anything so we just got on with our shooting.

"move" he said as i was standing infront of the target.

"she said we're taking a 10 minute break idiot"

"i don't wanna take a break so move"

"i don't care?" i said and he rolled his eyes and put the gun down.

i looked up from my phone and he walked over to a cute girl in our class called lousia jaxon and said something to her and they both left the room quickly while the teacher was gone.

the jaxons have bad blood with the rosarios but they're okay with the mcknights and polibios, they've backed us up on some missions so we're cool with them.

soon the 10 minutes were over and it was time to get back to shooting but mattia and louisa weren't back.

after another 5 minutes louisa came in first, her hair a little messy and a hickey on her neck. she told the teacher was in the bathroom and went to her partner and carried on practicing.

"mr polibio why are you back so late?" she said as he came in 5 minutes after louisa.

"uh i went to find some bullets but there was none in the storage room?" he lied and the teacher sighed and went to get some.
