'i bet you know just what you're doing'

i woke up and i didnt instantly fill with dread to see mattia. makes a change.

i dont know what we're doing but it's helping us get a long more so im not mad about it. it's not like it actually means anything to either of us. hes a polibio, nothing will make me forget what his family did so im not worried about catching any kind of feelings for him. i cant lie to myself, he's fine as fuck and an amazing kisser, but he'll never be more than that.

soon jess was awake.

"where did you and mattia sneak off to last night" she smirked at me.

"ew nowhere" i said with a disgusted face.

"really because neither of you were at dinner" she smiled.

"i was on my walk"

"until after midnight?"

"shut up anyways how are you and kairi" i asked changing the subject.

"we're good" she blushed.

"he better not hurt you" i warned.

"i don't think he will" she said with a smile on her face.

"you're so cute" i said throwing a pillow at her face and she threw one back and i ran to the bathroom.

we left to go training and i had running first. i got to the track and mattia got there at the same time as me.

"hey loser" he said as walked over to the track.

"hey asshole" i replied with a small smile on my face which he noticed and smiled too.

we got into our starting position and then set off running.

me and mattia were running alongside eachother and we'd tied everytime we'd run. i looked at him as we ran and he looked at me too and slowed down for half a second which i used to my advantage and i used up all the energy in me running faster. i finally got to the finish line and he groaned in annoyance as he came in behind me.

"y/n first place! 1 minute 28 seconds!!" the teacher clapped and i drank my water.

"mattia you improved by a second so well done to you to" she added and he nodded and drank his water too.

he looked at me and i smiled at his annoyed face in satisfaction. he glared at me and pulled me behind the shed of equipment while the teacher was recording everyone elses timings.

he pinned me against the back of the shed and leaned in close.

"you're driving me insane" he whispered in my ear and i swear i got chills.

"how? because i beat you?" i teased.

"shut up" he said leaning even closer to me, making my heart race slightly.

"you're a sore loser-"

he cut me off and smashed our lips together. he kissed me with a lot of passion and i rested my hands on his chest as we pulled away to catch our breath. 

"you better stop cutting me off-"

he kissed me again and this time i felt him smile against my lips.

"you're so annoying" i whined as he pulled away and rubbed my cheek with his thumb.

"it's better when you shut up" he smiled and i rolled my eyes at him.
