Iceland

I was seating at Lienchenstein's house. We have been hanging out almost every day, for a month now. I was playing Mario kart with him. This is the second time I'm actually at his house. Switzerland is sick so he didn't stop me.

- Heh! Try getting me now loser!

Every time I heard his voice I felt like smiling. I never had a friend before. A shiver went up to my back as I thought about going back to school. School is hell.
I glanced at my buddy.
This isn't...

Just the thought of bullying, of kids making fun of me again, made me wanna throw up. Gosh, this is awful...I just want to stay here...

Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I completely failed at the game.

- Icy? Are you alright? You just suddenly stopped.

- Oh, sorry it's nothing, may I um...go to the bathroom?

- Pfft, I'm not your fucking teacher. Sure you MAY.

- Shut it...

He giggled and decided to pick out a different game.

I walked out of the room. Shit...
Where the fuck was the bathroom?

I looked around the hallway. What the hell am I searching for?? It's not like I will find a giant sign saying "BATHROOM" nope.

Welp...gotta do it.

I started looking into random rooms like a fricking idiot. Suddenly I walked into a room. that I never have seen before. It was clean and organized. Diplomas and prizes hanged up on the walls.

Wow. I whispered under my breath. I sat down on the bed. It was extremely soft and nice in touch. A bunch of pillows laid on it. I looked upon the ceiling. It was dark blue. Suddenly I heard a knock on the door frame. I sat down as quickly as possible. Oh shit, this has to be-

- Having fun idiot?

His voice was quiet with a short-tempered note at the end. Like "Nice to meet you, sir, I could beat your ass if I wanted to". His eyes were completely calm tho. He turned the lights off. W-wha. Oh god no-no. I'm so dead.

A light switch, what was that? I glanced at the ceiling once again. It was...filled with holographic stars. I looked at Swiss. Some of the sparkling things shined on his face and body as he stood right beside the projector. He walked up to the bed and sat next to me.

He looked...tired and sad.

- Do you like it?

I snapped out.

- I...

He sighed and turned his face to me. A bruised place right between his eyes.

- So..how is it with Lienchenstein?

- ...

He stared at me waiting for an answer but I just stared back. The light from above was hiding his eyes in the shadows.

- God, you are such an idiot...get the fuck out of my room.

I still couldn't move. He stared at the ground and frowned.

- I said. Get. The. Hell. OUT.

I quickly got up and walked out of the room shutting the door behind me. What just happened?? I never have seen him like this. He was so...calm with me...

I didn't know he liked space I-
Why the fuck do I care, he is my bully. It's probably just another way he is trying to manipulate me. I got back to Lin's room. I didn't need to use the bathroom anyway.

- Took you long enough.

- EKK!

It was Lin, he was standing behind me.

- I was gonna start searching for you, where were you?

- I...was in Switzerland's room...

Should I tell him? Well, it's too late now. The smile he had on his face disappeared.

- Why were you with him?

- I...he just showed me the weird star thingy.

- That weirdo...no he wouldn't dare...

huh?

- Sorry, what was that?

- Nothing. Common let's get outta here, I don't wanna play games anyway.

He strolled up to his window and opened it up. It was going right onto the roof. I felt butterflies in my stomach.

- Wanna chill out, literally?

I walked up to him while snickering.

- When the hell did you become a dad?

He laughed and got out, I went after him. We sat down next to each other. Sweden won't get here until 9 pm. he's busy. We had a lot of time to kill. I looked over at him. He is so amazing...why is he even hanging out with me? I'll never be good enough for him.

- Are you thinking about something?

- Oh...just you...? I guess...?

He blushed and covered a bit of his face with his sleeve. Heh, he is so dumb.

- You look stupid right now.

- How dare you!

He giggled and punched my arm.

- Aye! That's not really nice mate.

- Like I care.

He ruffled my hair and smirked. I felt warmth growing on my cheeks. He is such an amazing friend, isn't he?!

I finally felt safe...I felt accepted, I felt...liked...for the first time in forever.

???

I watched from my window as they joked around on that roof. ...I hope you break your neck while falling...Liechtenstein.
