"Trust is a difficult thing, whether it's finding the right people to trust...Or trusting the right people will do the wrong thing. But trusting your heart...is the riskiest thing of all. In the end, the only person we can truly trust... is ourself."

I walked hazily until I was closer to the grey suit. My hands were slightly shaking but it was nothing I couldn't overcome. I believe in myself. I know I can do this. As I continued to walk closer I made a small noise with my heels against the floor and muttered an 'oops' as I spilt my drink on that luxurious suit. I picked a deep red win to make sure I left a mark on his blazer that's probably tailored personally for him by Gucci himself.

"I am so sorry I wasn't looking." I gasped and picked up the glass from the floor. I could hear that small chuckle ring in my ears.

"It's alright, I just hope we stop meeting like this. I'd rather prefer to meet in a better way where drink or food isn't being thrown." He cheekily grins at me. What a gentleman.

I look up and make eye contact with those eyes once again, the innocence shines through. How can those eyes belong to someone with despicable people surrounding him. I feel sorry for this man, no one deserves that kind of destiny. Time to put the best performance of your life Amelia.

I coyly smiled and helped him take his blazer off as both his friends got some sort of hint and walked away. "Let me at least pay for your dry cleaning, it's the least I can do after bumping into you, not once but three times." I cringe in embarrassment and soon I could sense a little bit of sympathy. The poor guy felt bad for my clumsiness.

"How about you buy me a drink? We can call it even." He suggests and I nod my head.

"It's a deal." He starts to lead us both to an empty table near the bar and from the corner of my eyes I noticed a pair of eyes on me. Zayn's eyes.

.........

"Alright, alright my turn now. What kind of jokes are told on a farm?" I giggle through my words as an amused smile appears on his face. He shakes his head and lifts his shoulders as an indication of having no idea.

"A corny one." I smile wide and usher my hands out as a 'what do ya think.' He looks at me in disbelief that such a joke came out my mouth and couldn't control his smile.

His beautiful soft hair styled back to show off his features with not a single strand in front of his face. He looks down and laughs, his teeth out in display and those dimples. God those dimples are deeper than ever. Considering he makes my skin crawl, it's a good thing he's good looking. At least it makes every single minute I've spent less painful. Or so I'm telling myself, frankly I was having a better time than expected. But I'd rather tell my subconscious I hate it because it will be easier it follow my plans.

My eyes start to look around and noticed how it has gotten dark.

"As lovely as this has been I should really head home." I stand up from my seat and he follows behind.
