Chapter 12
Pandora's POV
I didn't sleep because I meditated before I did this, so in the morning the door to my cell opened and the Collective and Sophie stepped in. What happened to her other friends?
"What do you want from me now?"
"A deal,"
I sighed, "What deal do you want to make?"
"You tell us where Keefe is and in return we let you free,"
"I can free myself," I laughed.
"Then why do you stay here?"
"Because I need information on the Black Swan and you have none, so goodbye,"
"You can't escape," Sophie snorted.
"Oh trust me I can,"
I opened my mouth and flames spilled out of my mouth. Just as quickly I flicked my wrist and the flames went out.
"Your another Pyrokinetic,"
"I had to play with DNA to get it, but yeah I'm a Pyrokinetic,"
I lied because I had no idea how long I would be in here and I didn't want the Black Swan to get suspicious.
"Now do you believe me?"
"Yes, but let's make a different deal,"
"I get to name it,"
"Only if it's fair,"
"It is. I reveal my face and in return you tell me what you've learned about the Neverseen,"
Sophie looked at Forkle for so long that I knew they were having a telepathic conversation. Sophie turned back to face me.
"Deal, but you have to reveal your face first,"
"No you tell me and then I reveal my face,"
"What if you just run away?"
"I'm not a coward like the Black Swan. I face this war head on,"
"So you admit there is a war,"
"Oh please did you not think of that?"
"We did, but we never thought it was true,"
"Well it is and your running out of time,"
"For what?"
"The Black Swan never told you?"
"What?"
"Such a clueless Moonlark. I put poison in that arrow that shot Wylie. I have the only antidote and he will die in five hours from now without it,"
"No your lying,"
Sophie turned to face the Collective and gasped when she saw the horror in her eyes. I actually felt sorry for her. I knew what it was like to have someone betray you.
"You really hid that from me?"
"It was for your own protection," Forkle argued.
"THIS WASN'T PROTECTION! WYLIE IS DYING!"
Tears spilled out of Granite's eyes and he shook his head, "You couldn't have seen him. The blackness, it's slowly swallowing him."
"I don't care! You hide too much from me. My best friend is dying and you didn't tell me,"
Sophie turned to face me and fury showed in her eyes. This is great. My plan is to make the Moonlark come to the Neverseen by me showing her the flaws of the Black Swan.
"Deal," Sophie told me without hesitation.
"N0!" Wraith shouted, but I wasn't listening.
"Deal," I answered back.
"All we learned is that the attack on the Goblins will happen soon and that they plan to grab the Goblin Queen,"
"Your smarter than you look, but a deals a deal,"
The Collective actually quieted down and Sophie's mouth clamped shut. I burned my chains and easily got out of my chair. I sighed and snapped my fingers and I felt my mask fall down. The Collective gasped.
"Pandora?" the Collective asked unison.
"What? Don't miss me?"
"How do you have your memories?" Granite asked through tears.
I rolled my eyes. I return and don't even get a welcome.
"I used that nook in my mind,"
Forkle looked down in shame, "I should've thought of that."
"How did you even find out. You had years of very detailed memories and you couldn't have stored them in that second," Blur argued.
"I wandered the halls that day and heard some very loud arguing. Turns out you were planning my 'new life' without my permission,"
"Wait who are you?" Sophie interrupted.
"They still don't tell you anything. Sophie I'm your older sister. I'm the First Moonlark,"
