BONUS CHAPTER

Fitz's POV

Sophie fell down on the floor and I collapsed down beside her. I heard some gasps from the Collective and I felt ice freeze me. I tried to use outward channeling and break the ice, but it was too strong. I saw the Neverseen running out of the treehouse and they disappeared from sight. The ice melted and I quickly grabbed Sophie as Mr. Forkle grabbed his pathfinder. Wraith called Livvy when we ran to the Healing Center. I layed Sophie on a cot and Bullhorn started to screech his head off before laying next to her. Luckily Livvy burst through the doors with a needle in her hand. Without hesitation she stabbed Sophie in the hand and Bullhorn stalked away.

"Thanks Livvy you saved Sophie again," I congratulated.

"I know. I'm lucky I still had leftover cures," Livvy told me.

"How much Limbium was it?" Granite asked.

"A gallon and she barely survived,"

Granite moved to Sphie's side and started whispering apologizes to her. Just then the doors opened again and Mr. Forkle and Squall stepped in.

"We can't find anything about the Froster. The Froster didn't talk and the Neverseen were careful in telling us if the Froster is a he or she," Squall complained.

"Really?" I asked with too much hope in my voice.

"Yeah nothing. Also they burned down Alluveterre with Everblaze,"

"That's bad," I commented.

Mr. Forkle sighed, "I couldn't even get in that Froster's mind."

"Me either," Granite agreed.

I felt my hope being swept away. That Froster was evil and I was going to get revenge. In the meantime I punched the wall of the Healing Center. I punched it over and over again. Each one was harder than the others. I punched until I felt a familiar hand stop me. I looked up and Linh stood next to me with her hands on mine.

"Don't hurt yourself because of what happened to Sophie. We'll get through this together, ok?"

"Ok," I sighed.

I turned around and faced Dex, Tam, Wylie, Marella, Maruca, and Stina.

"I'm sorry," Tam apologized.

"It wasn't your fault. You weren't even there," Dex assured him.

"That is my fault. If I had come along then maybe I could've protected Sophie,"

"I should've done something. Biana did it instead and paid the price," Wraith chimed in, "But as much as I like this blaming game. We need to focus on getting Keefe and Biana back."

"Have you found anything?" I asked.

"No, but we'll find them eventually,"

"Just like every time and by then they could be dead,"

"They won't be. Because the Collective has a plan,"

"What plan?"

"A plan to drag them out and trap them,"
