"We only just met and already you are trying to match me up with someone. You do move fast!" We both laughed over that and he watched and even helped as I did a number of various chores over the course of the morning. I worked on the big windmill again and he watched as I hovered nearly 200 feet above the ground for a good four hours. For me it was easier to fix the issue while hovering in the air. I patched the crack in the casing again and decided I was going to have to design a new casing before the patch gave me more problems again.

The windmill was the last thing to need work so I finally landed after making sure nothing else was wrong with the windmill. Adam smiled as I landed next to him. No matter how many times I see that, it still impresses me." "The windmill? Surely you've seen them before." "Not the windmill. Seeing a person not only have wings but also flying never ceases to impress me."

I laughed a moment before speaking up. "I sometimes forget how rare it is for someone to have wings and to be able to fly. From your point of view it is a rare sight to see I suppose. I've been flying for years and since coming here I've been flying almost every day. I like that I don't have to hide my wings here and sometimes forget that there are very few like me around still."

"Actually, there are more like you, but they are a long way from here. Several weeks travel and over very difficult terrain. We trade with them a few times a year, but they are reluctant to trust anyone very much. I guess with all that they endured before being exiled from their home world I can not blame them.

Humans created us to be the ultimate super soldiers that could strike anywhere in the world without our origin being traced back to any one country. The operation was run horribly and we were used as sex toys, beaten for fun, poisoned, starved and even sacrificed alive to a giant snake. This lasted for a very long time until one of us finally escaped and then came back years later as a fully grown and attractive tigress. She risked her life to free all of us and almost died doing so.

So as you know now, avians were not the only ones to be treated unfairly and eventually exiled. The aquatic species that came from across the void of space to settle in your oceans were also treated horribly and they too left Earth behind. Your history texts do not speak of it,but they left before they could be hunted down and destroyed. They too chose to settle here with those of us exiled from Earth."

"I'm surprised you let me and the colonists stay as bad as those from Earth treated you." "We were unable to stop you. You came down so fast we thought you were going to crash at first until you used the drag chutes and full reverse thrusters to slow down so quickly. You vanished after that quick descent to the surface and did not leave a lot of traces of yourself to be used to find you with.

It took us a long time to find you and we had a very difficult time getting close with the security drones and the pack watching over you. We watched you save the one who you call Wolf. Numerous times we have seen you hunt with the pack and at other times stay behind to watch the cubs while they hunted. I was watching you when the two Bantas attacked you and almost killed you.

I was surprised you not only survived the attack but killed them before we had to return you to your ship. Had I not been carrying you in my arms your pack would not have let me through to your ship. I put you in the healing machine and did what little I could to get it to work. I then looked around at everything you had done and delivered word to the others that you were not a threat to us.
