I shot backward and so did everyone else. "You're not taking him! Nobody is taking him!" Gordie said, with a gun in his hand.
"Come on kid! Give me the gun before you shoot your foot off! You ain't got the sack to shoot a woodchuck!" Ace mocked. "Move Ace! I'll kill you, I swear to God!" Gordie yelled. "Come on Lachance! Give me the gun! You must have atleast some of your brothers good sense!" Ace said, trying to reason with him.
I was smiling. I knew he wouldn't shoot the gun, but did Ace know that? No.
"Suck my fat one, you cheap dime-store hood!" Gordie said, cocking the gun. This baffled Ace. Someone standing up to this jerk? Wow.
"Are you going to shoot us all?" Ace asked, laughing. "No Ace. Just you." Gordie said very seriously. "We are gonna get you for this! You girls and your little slut!" Ace yelled. "Maybe you will, maybe you won't!" Chris said. I saw a small grin form at his lips.
"Oh we will! We're not gonna forget this if that's what you think! This is big time baby!" Ace yelled. They retreated. We did it.
