billie usually visited quinn's dorm once a week, but today she decided to alter that schedule.

standing in front of her door, she knocked a few times then stuffed her hands in her pockets while she waited.

quinn unlocked and opened the door, the surprised look on her face quickly formed into a smile. "again?" she chuckled lightly and moved out of the way so billie could enter.

"yup." billie replied blandly and immediately found a comfortable spot on the couch, leaned over the coffee table and began to roll her own blunt; something she's been doing for some time now.

"shit, if you're gonna make yourself at home, take me to dinner first." quinn joked, though her statement held some truth.

"fuck outta here," billie scoffed, most of her attention directed towards the weed in front of her.

"rough day?" quinn took a seat then handed her a lighter.

"something like that." was all she said.

quinn sat back and set her feet on the coffee table.

"you gonna tell me about it?"

"not a fan of sharing my personal life. i also don't need another shrink in my business, i got too many." billie mumbled, disinterested.

one of the things billie liked about her friendship with quinn was that they were just two conversations away from being acquaintances. they barely knew anything about each other and billie wanted to keep it that way. she found great comfort in the fact that quinn has never seen her sob and that she didn't know she was secretly a depressed mess.

she didn't enjoy being vulnerable.

there were only two people in the world she would do that for, but one of them was currently pissed at her and the other was dead.

there wasn't much she could do.

"you don't gotta tell me the whole plot, i just wanna know what's bothering you."

"my girl's mad at me." billie spoke abruptly then took a long drag as she closed her eyes, leaned her head back on the couch, then exhaled the smoke up into the air.

unable to stop herself from looking, quinn admired the girl before her. infatuated, she stared at her sharp jawline and observed the way her hair sat perfectly on her shoulders. moving down, she couldn't help but notice the reddened hickey on her neck, suddenly ceasing her intrusive thoughts.

"doesn't look like she's mad," quinn commented.

confused, her eyes shot open. once she realized what she was referring to, she explained, "nah, she definitely wasn't pissed at me last night." billie shoots her a knowing look to indicate why.

"but i told her something right before we fell asleep and i guess it never sat right with her. she came to her senses in the morning and we had a lil' fight."

"well what'd you say?"

"i told her that i was sorry for everything i've done..."

quinn shrugged, not finding the problem.

"...and will do."

her face then falls, "are you fucking serious? tell me you're playin' with me."

billie shakes her head.

"you're hot, but you're an even bigger idiot."

"i get where she's coming from, but i swear to god my intentions were pure."
