Chapter one: The Test

Jen's POV

I smiled as I pulled my blonde hair into a poney tail. I sighed and snuck downstairs, I got into the living room but heard his voice. "Jennifer." I turned around. "nick." "Where are you going?" I rolled my eyes and corssed my arms. "Out." He rolled his eyes. 

"Where?" "With Josh." Mumbled, "Josh? I knew it, your cheating!" I shook my head. "No! He has a girlfriend, I love you, id never want to cheat on you!" He knew I was serious. "Fine go, but be back no later than 5." I noded with a smile. He kissed me, it was long and patinet. I walked outside and drove to the mall.

I walked in and started looking for Josh. I saw him, smiled and snuck up behind him. I hugged him and he laughed. He turned to see me. "Hey Jen!" I smircked. "Hi Joshy!" He chuckled, "are you excited?" I looked at him confused. "For what?" "Um filming catching fire?" I just kind of stood there till it hit me. 

"Right! Yeah, I am." "Did you forget?" I noded and he was shocked. "Sorry, I've been pretty forgetful latley." He noded and we started walking Around. "How's cludia?" I asked with a sigh. I hate cludia, she hates me, it's an honest truth. "She's good, still not a fan of you." I noded. "How's nick?" I weakly smiled. "Good, still doesn't like you." 

He sighed and we kept walking. "Who do you think's playing Johanna and finick?" I shrugged, "I don't know." He sighed, "you ok?" I noded. "Sorry, I've got a lot on my mind." He nodded and kissed my head. "It's ok." I smiled, "can we get some ice cream?" He chuckled and noded. We walked inside and Josh smiled. "What do you want?" I looked at the menu. "Mint chocolate chip." He looked at me. 

"Jen, you hate mint chocolate chip." I shrugged. "But that's what I want." He noded and ordered that for me and him chocolate. We walked into the rest of the mall agian and walked while eating our ice cream. "So do you think you'll ever pop the question to cludia?" He got a smile. "Yeah, I was actually planning on doing it next week." 

I don't know why but my heart was crushed, but it shouldn't be, I love nick! I faked a smile. "That's amazing!" He noded. "What about nick?" I shrugged, "I don't know. I don't bother him with stuff like that. Were happy how we are." He noded, "well no matter what I love you like your my sister, and I want you to be at the wedding." 

I faked another smile, but Inside I felt my heart shatter more. "I'd love to." He smiled and we walked around a bit more and we're being crazy. We ended up losing track of time. "Attention, the mall will be closing in five minutes, it's 9:55 the mall closes at 10!" My eyes widened. "Oh my God!" 

Josh looked worried. "What?" "I promised Nick id be home no later than five!" He sighed as he watched me start panicking and leave. I ran to my car ignoring the paps and drove home. I walked in qiuetly but saw nick. "Your late, cheater." Tears sudonly filled my eyes which we both found odd. "I didn't cheat!" I yelled and he groand. 

"Yes, yes you did!" I brushed past him and walked into the kitchen. "Jen!" He called as I drank my water. He walked in and I stared at him. "If you've come to accuse me of fucking with someone else who is going to propose to his girlfriend go ahead, it's no like kills me inside that you don't trust me." I said sarcastically and tears fell from my eyes. 

He hugged me and I sighed. "I love you Jen, I'm sorry." I smiled, "it's fine." I pulled out of the hug. "I'm tired, I'm just goona head to bed." He looked at me confused since I'm never tired at ten but noded. He kissed me and i walked upstairs. I layed in bed and cuddled with pippi, but something was keeping me awake. 

I sighed, knowing Nick wasn't coming to bed anytime soon I got out of bed and walked into the master bathroom. I closed and locked the door. I opend the cabinet and found a box, more specifically a pregnancy test box. I took one out and took it. I sighed and sat there for another three minutes, dreading it, hoping I wasn't, wishing Josh want getting married, Everything. 

I felt my phone buz and I looked at it. I felt tears fall from my eyes, "no!" I whispersed. "No!" I sobbed harder and heard nick come into the bathroom. "Jen?" I qickly hid the test in my makbag and out the box back. I whipped my eyes and came out. "Hey, what's wrong?" I sighed, "nothing, I just don't feel good." He noded and kissed my head. "Come on, let's get you in bed. I want you to feel better." 

A weak smile formed on my face as I layed back down and he tucked me in. He got in the other side and I took a couple hours to fall asleep. I can't be pregnant, there's no way. It had to be a fulse positive. Eaither way, tommorow I start filming and so ill take another in my trialer where I don't need to worry about people seeing it. Oh my God, is my life ever going to be the same?
