Chapter twenty-six: ill protect you forever

Jen's POV

I smiled as me and Josh walked into the girls room. "Girls wake up." They said up and rubbed their eyes. "I know it's early but we have a surprise." They nodded and we picked them up and got them dressed. its like 6:30 in the morning, i know its early but were trying not to get noticed.

when we got to the doctor the girls were fully awake. "where are we daddy?" ivy asked and we smirked. "you'll see." we helped them out and walked inside. "uh Jennifer hutcherson." the nurse nodded, "room 5, the doctor will be in any minute."

we thanked her and went to the room. "whats the surprise?" Holly asked and i looked at the girls. "mommy's going to have a baby." josh told the girls and their mouths dropped. "where is it?" they asked excitedly. "its in mommy's belly." i told them and they stared at me. "woah!" holly pointed to my stomach. "its in your belly?" i nodded and the girls smiled. "cool!!" they exclaimed as the door opend.

"can you go sit with daddy?" they sat down with josh and he smiled at me. "hello again Jennifer."  i smiled softly. "hi." she turned to josh with a smile. "hello josh." they shook hands and she bent down to the girls. "is this miss ivy?" "yeah, ivy say hi." josh replied. 

ivy waved and the doctor smiled. "who's this?" "uh that's holly." she smiled and walked over to me. "ok you know this might be cold." i nodded and played back. She put the gel on me and started looking for the baby. "ok there's the baby. Your nine weeks and your due date in December 15th."

we smiled, "is it a boy?" the girls asked and me and joshy laughed. "i don't think they know yet." "actuality were able to tell around this early in the pregnancy now. Would you like to know?" i looked at josh. "sure." she nodded and looked closely. "its a boy. congratulations." tears fell from my eyes which made josh laugh.

"oh shut up!" he smiled and i started cleaning myself up. "yay!! now we'll have a prince when we play!" i smiled and the girls hugged me. "you girls wanna go get some ice cream?" they nodded and we left.

Nobody's pov

They got home as nick walked down their street with bryana. She had agreed to meet with him to tell him about holly. He had just found out where she was living as they got there. "shit josh!" they looked over in shock. "what?" "we didn't tell Jena." They laughed as the girls got out of the car and started running around jen and josh.

"Mommy can we name him micky mouse?!" holly asked as she ran to jennifer and bryana's heart broke knowing she didn't know the truth. "i dont know. but how about you three go inside and play? im goona call jena." they went inside and she pulled out her phone.

"damn it jena. why'd you have to be the one to take Ryan to soccer?" she said with a soft laugh and nick shook his head. "Lawrence!' she turned to see them in confusion. "nick?" "i want to see my daughters." he told her as the girls came out to tell her josh needed her. "No."

"there my daughters!" she shook her head in tears. "they are not your daughters anymore! you abandoned them who knows how many times. You have no fucking right to walk back into our lives after the way you abused me and left them!" He got closer to her, "i would never do what you did to those girls! i cant imagine giving birth to a baby and leaving like that!"

The girls and bryana watched them fight. "I would never abandon my son the way you did holly! i cant even imagine giving birth to him, handing him to josh and taking off! you are a horrible human being who doesn't deserve all these chances to start over that we all give you, dating you is the worst mistake i ever made! but it gave the most beautiful thing i could ever ask for and whether you like it or not we are holly's parents even if we didn't give birth to her, and josh is ivy's father even if he didn't make her, you will never be their father even if your their actual father."

He looked pissed at her. "you have a son?" "we he's not exactly born yet but yeah i do. Now get the hell off my property before i call the police!" He smirked his evil smirk as he walked away. "this isn't over Lawrence!" she smirked her evil smirk. "you might wanna stop calling me Lawrence, its hutcherson now!" she yelled at him and sighed. tears fell from her eyes. "mommy why'd you say daddy isn't my daddy?"

she turned around and saw the girls. "Oh my god!" her voice broke as she started crying and bry's heart broke for her. "whats going- oh y god jen!" josh ran outside and hugged his wife. "josh i messed up!" she sobbed. "hey what happend?" the girls listened closely. "i went off on nick and now hes never going to stop! josh im never going to be free!" she sobbed.

"what did i ever do to him? every time im finally happy he comes back and destroys everything. i dont want him to hurt the girls, and the worst thing is they over heard all of it!" he sighed, "shhh, don't worry about him. ill protect you. i wont let him touch you ever agian." he kept holding her in a hug. 

"whats going on?" ivy asked and josh sighed. "well tell you later. come on, lets go make mommy feel better." they nodded and josh kissed Jennifer's head. "wait!' they saw bryanna. "can i see her?" they smiled softly. "yeah. come over tommorw just dont let nick find out." she nodded and left. josh kissed her and put his hand on her stomach. "ill protect you forever."
