Christeen...

Mal walked over to Uma offering her the wand. Uma was about to take it when she stopped mid-air.

"Hold up. Mm. Too easy. Why don't you give it a test drive?" Uma asked shocking Mal a bit. There must be something about the wand if Mal is looking like that. "We want to see it work."

"You always were quite the drama queen," Mal said back forcing on a smile. the wand must be fake if they are all stressed like this. They made it on Carlos' 3D printer! Smart guys.

"Oh, and nothing too big, or else Ben is fish bait. Or maybe Christeen...that would be a pity she was really cool," Uma said, and as if on cue Harry grabbed onto my vest and dipped me a bit over the edge so I could see the water. Well, this doesn't look appealing at all. I looked up and saw Dude. A talking dog.

I cleared my throat catching Carlos' attention. He looked at me, his expression scared. I pointed at Dude with my eyes and he seemed to catch on. When Mal turned to them in question of what to do he gently nodded his head to the side where Dude was. Mal looked at the dog and aimed the wand at him.

"Okay. Although it seems absurd, turn your bark into a word!" Mal cast the made-up spell but for the first time in forever Dude seemed to be shy. That dog literally climbed up on the table and stole my lunch last week.

"Dude!" I called the dog bringing his attention to me. He stood up wagging his tail happily.

"Oh man, I am so happy to see you. It feels like forever. Do you have bacon? Or cookies for me? Please tell me you do," Dude pleaded, causing everyone to laugh slightly. But the only thing that matters is that Uma is convinced the wand is real.

"Give me the wand!" Uma ordered outstretching her hand towards Mal.

"Give me Ben and Chris!" Mal shot back equally as loud.

"Harry, bring them over."

"Aw, but I wanted to keep this pet," He said stroking my hair with his hook.

"Yeah? Well, too bad she is going with us!" Carlos stated sternly glaring daggers at the pirate. Harry brought us over to Uma. On the way there Gil got in front of Ben.

"Ooh, um, you go, tell your mom that Gaston says hi and also tell your dad that my dad wishes he'd finished off your dad when he had the chance." Gil blabbered...didn't understand him half the thing, to be honest, but never mind. We were pushed towards Uma and brought down to our knees. I hissed lightly when my knee made contact with the hard wood.

Mal inspected both our faces carefully for any sign of injury. Then both at the same time they outstretched their hands out asking for their part of the trade.

"Cut them loose, Harry," Uma ordered not giving a single glance towards the pirate behind her.

"I never get to have any fun," Harry whined cutting off our ropes with his sword. Once my arms were free I went to reach for Carlos' outstretched hand but Uma put a hand on my shoulder looking sternly at Mal. Ben was already on his feet but Mal still had the wand. She gave a look to me and then Uma handing her the wand. Once the hand from my shoulder was lifted Carlos pulled me up and started pushing me towards the exit.

"Come on, pup, time to leave." Carlos pulled me by my hand and now we have reached Evie but before we could get to the exit Uma yelled.

"By the power of the sea, tear it down and set us free!" Nothing happened. We were probably supposed to be long gone. "No! You do not get to win every time!" Uma yelled angrily. The broken wand chucked to the side.

"Chris!" Lonnie called throwing me a sword. I caught it with ease and winked at her in thank you.

"You know how to work with that?" Carlos asked throwing a smoke bomb.
