Just a giant Octopus...not a big deal

Just for the record I know that the gif is from the 3rd movie, I just couldn't find any fitting gif that I wanted to use so I used this one. Just don't eat me for it😂

I was underwater, desperately trying to swim up to the surface. The water around me started bubbling and when I reached the air I gasped. The figure next to me which was supposed to be Uma had the shape of a giant octopus. Well great. I have a sea creature next to me and I am not the best swimmer around considering I am a cat. This just can't get any better, can it? 

"Christeen!" I heard my friends yell but I had no time to look up because I had to move out of the way of the giant tentacle. Couldn't make it any harder for me, right?

"True love's kiss won't defeat this. The world will know my name!" Uma sends a tentacle flying towards the ship almost hitting the people there.

"No!" I outstretched my hand as if it would in any way save the tipping boat, and it surprisingly glowed a bright white color. My eyes widened when I saw a white shield block another attack of Uma on my friends.

"You wanna play, little kitty?" She glared at me and her tentacle came flying my way this time pushing me down under the water.

"Chris!"

I was pulled out of the water by what felt like claws. Wait, what is going on? I gasped once I reached the surface. My head turned upwards to see a real-life dragon flying in the air with me. Its scales were shining with a familiar purple color, along with the striking green eyes. 

"Mal?" I asked confused. The dragon roared and threw me up in the air. I let out a shriek until I fell on the back of Mal in her dragon form. Well, this is something you don't experience every day.

"Come on, Mal! Let's finish this once and for all!" Uma yelled. Mal started breathing fire. Dodging the tentacles Mal almost shook me off her back.

"Mal! That's enough!" I yelled not feeling comfortable with this fight. I wasn't supposed to be a part of it. Uma had to duck underwater when Mal fired a fireball at her. When she came to the surface she sent a huge wave in the direction of the ship.

"Watch out!" The ship started rocking back and forth. It is so close to tipping over, I need to do something. I out of habit once again I outstretched my arm and another beam of white light came from it, which settled the ship. How is this even happening for the love of all the tea in Wonderland?!

I was so busy dodging Uma's attacks and trying to keep my stability on Mal's back that I didn't notice Ben jumping into the water. I finally noticed him when he yelled from under us. Great, who else is going to join? Just risk your life by jumping into the water next to an octopus, risk either being drowned or blasted by Mal's fire. Great options on both sides.

"Mal, Uma! Stop! Back down!"

"What are you gonna do, Ben? Splash me?"

"That's enough!" I yelled, slowly climbing towards Mal's head. Trying to be careful not to hurt her. I have never been riding a dragon so I am not really sure how much I can do without angering her in some way. 

"It's got to stop! This isn't the answer! The fighting has got to stop! Nobody wins this way! We have to listen to and respect each other. It won't be easy, but let's be brave enough to try. Uma, I know you want what is best for the Isle. Help me make a difference." Ben said reaching his arm towards Uma. I was holding onto Mal tightly so I won't fall. Uma picked up her tentacle and I thought she will try to drown him like she tried to do with me but she just dropped a ring in his outstretched palm.
