"Jeongin, we're getting a new member!"
Felix was smiling happily, almost screaming about the news. I sighed because I knew that the new member wouldn't stay long. It has been that way since a couple of months.
They joined our club and left immediately as soon as they saw me. By now, I should be used to it. Everyone stopped liking me.
Everyone except for Felix.
And the worst part was, I couldn't even blame them.
"Seungmin told me that he was from Australia too. Isn't that great? Finally a fellow Aussie. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy your company but I miss home."
His smile slowly dropped, making him look a lot less enthusiastic than he was before. My heart broke everytime he did that. Yes, I did know that he missed home but I also knew that he needed friends to keep him company. Friends that he had already. The friends that left because he started hanging out with me.
"You know," I looked down to the camera in my hands, "I still don't get why you want to be here with me. If you want to make new friends, I can always leave, you know?"
"But you're my best friend, Jeongin. I don't believe in any of these rumours. You're much more than that. All I need is friends who feel the same way, because they are the real ones."
My heart skipped a beat.
