ART OF ENGRAVING
VOTD (Verse of the Day)
See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands.
Isaiah 49:16

Tingnan mo iyang palad mo. Both of it. Uto-uto. Charot. Diba may mga guhit? Ngayon, ano ang naisip mo nung tiningnan mo 'yon?
Some people, iniisip nila na kapag may kumpletong letter M sa palad nila, suwerte. O kaya naman ay magwish ng 3 am at matutupad ang hiling mo. But, when I have read my Our Daily Bread book, at yung verse of the day natin, nagbago ang pananaw ko about dito.
I always thought na yung guhit sa palad natin, ang makakapagbigay ng explanation about diyan is Science. I always thought about that. Or kaya naman is design iyan para sa atin na binigay ni Lord. But now, magiiba na ang pananaw ko.
When Jesus had been crucified, His hands were pierced with the use of nails and a hammer. He has a nail-pierced hand. May kanta pa nga iyon eh. By His stripes, we are healed. By His nail-pierced hands we're free. The Anthem yung title, by PlanetShakers. Some of their songs is my personal faves. Anyways, bakit nga ba nagkaroon ng nail-pierced hands si Jesus? For us. For our sins. Binayaran na Niya ang ating mga utang. Our chains have been broken. We are redeemed. Because of Him.
Sabi sa Our Daily Bread, yung nagkwekwento doon, if he is tempted, he will look at his palm and he will imagine Jesus' hand which was nail-pierced because of us. If we are tempted, let us look at our palm and remember that God is always there to call for some help to fight that temptation.
God bless!
