~Years later~
The silence of this world was always loud. I've grown used to its screams ever since I was little. For a young girl with nothing, I relied on those around me to keep me entertained and happy. When they leave, I sat alone and could only stare at the water sliding away from the waterfall flowing upwards.
My eyes were always the main part of gaining my entertainment, but lately my mind wandered of that day when she came and left...
I sat against a rock while staring up at the waterfall, soaking my feet in the pond. Eventually my Pokémon; Gengar, Misdreavus, Shuppet, Duskull, Litwick, and Sableye finally came back from wherever they were and greeted me with big smiles and stared at the water like they always did, seeing something I couldn't.
I can imagine perhaps they're expecting to see if that girl will end up appearing again since they know how much I liked her, but it's been years already. It made me wonder if that day even happened and if it was all a dream.
No matter how many times I tell myself that that day probably didn't happen, I was reminded by the things she had given me that I hold dear to me since the day she left. Though I didn't know what the things she gave me were, I vowed to keep them safe until I can figure out what I can do with them.
Gengar came up to me and gave me a bag of food it does every so often whenever I get hungry. The food was always the same, but it tasted better than the berries growing in this world that couldn't compare to the berries the girl gave me.
It's been so many years since that hole appeared where she came from. Since then, Gengar had been finding food that is most likely from that world. I shouldn't complain. It's delicious regardless, but I always wonder what that world with food this good is like.
This world is the only one I've ever known. I never had the need to use my voice since I was good at reading the hearts of others. It's the reason why I couldn't understand Flora's words, but I could read her heart.
Sableye waved to get my attention once I was done eating. It used sign language that I could understand outside of reading hearts. It's the only language I understood as of now.
Sableye wanted to go for a walk, so I agreed to join it and got up to walk around the rock formations.
Walking on the rock formations barefoot was always the same. Everything I looked at was the same. At most times as I got older, I wished things were different. That all started because of Flora. Seeing how different she was, I wanted something similar. I didn't know exactly what I was getting myself into if I had such thoughts.
I was being taken care of in this world and given everything I ever needed. I felt bad that I wanted a change for once, so I never said anything.
A soft gust of wind went pass me, something that's not common unless father flies past me.
Father's home!
I hurried over to find a good place to face father and watch it come down to face me above the pit of darkness that that man ended up falling through years back. For as long as I've been in this world, I never knew what was beyond that.
I cupped my hands happily when seeing father after so long. It leaves every so often and comes back when it can, so I was happy. As soon as we faced each other, its thoughts entered mine, telling me something I didn't expect to hear.
Just then, a portal appeared below us "Take this" I lifted my hands to catch a strange stone floating down to me "You will need this once you leave" my jaw dropped in horror "This stone has the ability to absorb shadows that were left behind by the spirits of Pokémon and humans. Take this to the Celestial Tower to put a stop to their wander"
