Chapter 23: Elesa

Blade's Pov

So, it's official... she said she's going back home... Our birthday isn't for another couple of weeks. Even so, this week is about us. We are going to have fun. The delay will cost us our journey, but it's worth it.

"Got it?" I asked Angel after she gathered the shadow of Nimbasa City.

"Yep!" She smiled and showed the keystone "I'm glad this one didn't sneak up on me like the one did in route 4!" I nodded.

"Right?" She put the stone away and smiled "so! It's our first day in this city together. What do you wanna do?" I started thinking.

"Football!" I grabbed her hand and ran towards the football stadium.

"Football?!" She asked.

"Yes! You'll love it!" I lied; I knew girls hated football. Bianca was extremely bad at it. I just wanna show Angel more of this world to convince her to stay. I'm going to find as many activities as we can!

She gazed upon the field with football players in their uniform. It smells like sweaty socks and farts in here "it stinks in here" she commented. I nervously laughed.

"I thought you might say that. That's not what we're here for" I laughed and brought her into the field. The person in front of the building said no one was doing a game, so it's just open practice.

"Why are we here?" She looked up and caught a football before it hit my face. I fell back in shock "What is this?" She looked at the football weird.

"It's a football" I stood up and looked at her spin it in her hands playfully "I didn't know you can catch" she looked up and some football players waving their arms to get the ball back.

"I play catch all the time back home" I smiled, imagining a cute little Angel playing catch with a demon... I don't know if I should find it adorable or terrifying "Why are they waving?"

"They want their ball back. Can you throw it?" She held the ball awkwardly "Here, you hold it like this" I helped her hold the ball right "now throw it" she nodded and threw the ball with great force, nearly making the football player fly backwards once he caught it. My jaw dropped

"Like that?" She smiled.

"Wow..." that was awesome!

"Can we get out of here? It smells like you when you sweat" I held my heart dramatically.

"Are you saying I stink?" She smirked.

"You said it, not me" I removed her hat and messed up her hair "hey!" I laughed.

"Fine. We'll leave" we walked out the building and saw Bianca approaching us.

"Guys!"

"What's up Bianca?" I asked.

"You should really visit the theater! It was so much fun to watch! It's soooo cool!" Angel held her chin confused

"Musical Theater? Where you went yesterday, correct?"

"Y-Yeah!" Bianca tried hard pretending to be okay with being close to Angel, but she was standing so close to me as if she was hiding "I'll show you!" Bianca grabbed my hand and ran me to the musical building. I looked back to make sure Angel was behind us "come with me! Over here! Over here!" We entered the building; it was fancy looking.

"A-mazing! Isn't it?" Bianca asked. I looked at Angel frowning at Bianca trying not to make eye contact

"It really is!" Angel forced a smile while looking around.

"It smells like perfume" I sweat dropped. Angel giggled and took off my hat to mess up my hair.

"Oh well" There was a man with a top hat approaching us
