Chapter 27: Dragonspiral

Angel's Pov

I hugged Blade tightly while he stroked my hair "I'm sorry..." he cried, I smiled and rubbed his back.

"I'm sorry too..." I let go of him and smiled "I should had realized myself sooner" he chuckled and wiped my tears away.

"I wanted to tell you on our birthday" I looked at him surprised.

"Our birthday?" He nodded and looked at, what I seem to remember from my fake memory, Skyla, was looking at us in awe.

"How beautiful!" She cried. I giggled and felt Victini sitting on my head "sorry! Sorry!" She wiped her tears away "let me introduce myself to you Blade, again" she took a deep breath and put her hand on her hip "I'm Skyla, the leader of Mistralton's Pokémon Gym"

"I know" Blade smiled. He was so happy... I was too "you use flying types, right?" She nodded.

"Yes! I'll give you my welcome just like I did for Angel!" She giggled and flew off. Blade faced me.

"Now" I sweat dropped "what were you thinking of leaving me when I was asleep? You didn't think I'd need you? I could've died" I looked down.

"I made sure you were okay before I left. I'm sorry... but now consider me a new person! I learned a lot from Flora!"

"Flora? You mean-" I squealed.

"Yes! I spent my few days with her" he chuckled.

"I'm just glad you're back" I nodded, looked down the tower and frowned.

"They might already be gone by now..." I sat down and looked out in the fog "I let them go... I don't think they will forgive me after I abandoned them..." I held my heart and felt it drop "my shadow took over me because I let a weak heart near this place..." I cupped my mouth "I'm sorry..." Blade sat next to me and smiled.

"There's a chance they are still there... remember, you didn't catch any of them by force. They followed you... so they have to be there..." I nodded and wiped my tears away.

"I hope so..." Chandelure levitated us off the tower and back on the ground. I froze when I felt many familiar hearts burst into happiness.

I turned around and saw them... my Pikachu, my Servine, Minccino, Zebstricka, and Zorua. I burst into tears "you waited two days here...?" They nodded and smiled "I'm so sorry..." I squatted down to hug all of them. They tackled me to the ground and licked my face happily. I giggled and enjoyed having them back in my life... even if we were separated for only two days, it felt like years.

"Thank you for believing I'll come back" I had recaptured them and stood up to hug Blade... "let us go to the Pokémon gym so you can beat Skyla" he nodded and held my hand while we walked back to the city.

"You still have a lot of explaining to do" I looked at him confused "you have six badges" I flinched and started running ahead "hey!"

"What makes you think that!?" I laughed.

"Skyla told me!" I shook my head and continued running from him. I'm so happy...

"You won't run off, right?" Blade asked while we stood in front of the gym.

"No! There's no reason for me to!" Pikachu agreed with me.

"Good" he petted my head and turned his shoulder to face the gym "wish me luck then. I'm not letting you beat me" I nodded.

"Okay" he smiled and disappeared into the door. I sat down on a bench and used a small mirror Flora gave me to stare at myself. To think if I just looked at my reflection, I would have known sooner...
