Angel's Pov

My brother frowned at me watching me stare at him from behind my shoulder, not interested in what he has to say. "I waited so long to know you... D-Did I do something wrong?" He cried "please tell me... I wanna know" he was sad, I could feel it.

"No" my heart felt like it just got stabbed "You... didn't do anything wrong" I admit to him and walked into my room, locked the door, and just went through a breakdown, hugging myself.

"It hurts... it hurts..." I cried. I knew there was no way I could go back to what I was before... happy and innocent. But now, I'm just this cold and angry person... My brother expected to be with his sister... and I'm just... like this!

Another stab of coldness hit me. I straightened myself out and wiped my tears away "Whatever..."

The holidays in Kanto were always charming, especially when everyone meets in the Pokémon Tower to pay respect to the lost souls buried there. I was sitting in front of the sparkling tree alone in my home. These lights remind me of Litwick.

Father had always tried to understand why I changed and kept questioning me why I was so distant from him and my brother. I stayed silent after that, so he just gave up and always tried his best to at least make me happy, if possible.

The tears and heart pain had stopped after my brother had left... I had a small picture of him sitting next to a pink Pokémon near a tree. I didn't know what I felt in my heart, but all I knew was that it was numb.

After the special dinner father prepared, we went off to bed. I tightly held onto the necklace my brother gave me, in my hands, and slowly went to sleep.

I heard shouting in the main room. I woke up and walked over to the area where the noise was coming from. I had thought of Litwick when I heard the shouting, so I couldn't help but become curious. I was a child after all.

"Get out my house!" Father shouted while pressing himself on the wall from a guy in a mask and holding a gun.

"Not until you hand over something valuable" the guy laughed while pointing the gun at father's head. My eyes widened.

F-Fa... Daddy's eyes traveled to me. Once his eyes widened, the guy looked at me "oh! Look what we have here" he laughed and walked over to me.

"No! Stay away from her!" Daddy jumped his back, which was his biggest mistake... The guy turned around and shot him in the head. My heart had completely dropped and shattered once his body fell on the ground. There was no movement, no breathing...

"D-Daddy...?" the guy scoffed and reached over to me. I ran off but he had the necklace around my neck in his hands and choked me.

"Where do you think you're going?" He chuckled, brushing his lip on my ear. I started shaking "this is pretty, and shiny... do you mind if I have it?" He pulled on the necklace more, choking me much further.

The necklace broke off and sent me falling on my hands. I felt the guns' cold metal press on the back of my neck "I don't need any witnesses, and I'm sure you miss your father, so I'll take you wherever he's going" a strong breeze came from the open window.

We looked over and saw someone climbing the window with blonde and night black hair with glowing red eyes.

His feet reached the floor, and he then fixed his hair

"Who in the hell are you?" The guy who had the gun snarled. The stranger with glowing eyes looked over and gave a creepy smile.

"Humans, they think saying hell is okay, but once they say it to the ruler, that's their mistake!" The guy pointed his gun. I was too shaken up and frozen on the floor to move at the sight of his scary face and eyes, and the man with the gun.
