Blade's Pov
It was frustrating losing to Lenora once, but after taking some time to prepare again and pump my Pokémon again for another battle, I managed to win the second time around! Now I have got the basic badge!
"Wow! What an honor! Thank you!" I smiled, taking the badge and admiring it.
"You improved since the first time we battled this morning. I could see your determination to battle after a few hours of leaving here. I admire that dedication" Lenora smiled.
"Herd!" My newly evolved Herdier barked with its tail wagging. I pet its head after a job well done before we heard shouting.
"Deeear!" I turned around and saw Hawes, Lenora's husband, running over while covered in sweat.
"Honey?" Lenora walked up to him.
"Dear! Come quickly! The uh... Team Plasma is threatening to steal some bones!" Lenora gasped.
"What in the world...?" Hawes looked at me.
"Blade! You come, too!" They both ran off. What's going on...? Lampent appeared next to me.
"Lampent?" It looked at me and pointed at the stairs "I should go help?" It nodded "alright" I ran out the battlefield, out the library, and back into the museum where I saw Lenora and a bunch of Team Plasma grunts looking up at the big Dragonite skeleton.
"You all!" Lenora yelled, catching some grunts' attention "enough fooling around!" I looked up ahead and saw one grunt had Angel tied up.
"Angel!" I gasped and ran to Lenora's side.
"So, you've come, Gym Leader" one of the grunts asked. Angel turned to look at me, making me gasp at her scraped knees and some blood stains by where her arms were under the rope around her
"W-What did they do to you...?" I snapped and ran over to the grunt and punched him square in the face, beating him up senselessly "What did you do to her?!" Many grunts were trying to pull me away, but I was stuck against the grunt on the ground, continuing to beat the shit out of him.
"Blade! Stop! Your heart!" Angel shouted, trying to break free.
"We, Team Plasma, claim this museums dragon skull in the name of Pokémon liberation!" A grunt in the background yelled out.
"To show you we're serious" another grunt said, "we'll steal it right before your eyes!" The two turned around to face the fossil.
"Well, then, here's our smoke screen!"
"Plasma!" The grunts yelled before lifting their arms and threw a ball to the floor, making the area impossible to see anything! I was pulled away and thrown off my feet while the building was filled with smoke!
As soon as the smoke lifted, the grunts had already disappeared! Lenora gasped and slowly walked over to the headless skeleton.
"What's going on?" She frowned. Lampent burned the rope around Angel and freed her.
"Angel!" I pulled away any remaining string left on her and saw her covered in some dirt and blood around her knees and arms "what happened to you...? I thought..." I thought those grunts did that to her.
She brushed herself off and picked up the fainted Pichu on the floor by us. Could that be the egg she had?
"Are you okay...?" I frowned.
"I'm fine" she smiled and patted my chest "Your heart was overcome by anger, removing any signs of logic"
"I thought they hurt you. I saw the blood" she looked down at herself.
