Rosé hummed as she studied, highlighting important points in her notes, her doorbell then rang, and she figured that it was Jungwoo. He had promised to come over and accompany her for the afternoon, considering the rest still had classes for the day–Jaehyun included.

She opened the door and smiled when she saw Jungwoo holding up a bag of McDonalds.

"Thank god, you're here.", Rosé sighed in relief as Jungwoo entered. The both of them then went straight to the dining table. Rosé closed her books and kept her notes, indicating that she was done with studying.

"You're always studying.", Jungwoo pointed out as he watched Rosé keep her notes in her file.

"I'm not very smart. I don't really have a choice.", Rosé mumbled.

"What do you mean? You were always in the top 10 best students in highschool.", Jungwoo chuckled.

"Yeah, because I studied. Hard. Look at Jaehyun, he's so relaxed and yet he still got into the top5.", Rosé said, "That's so weird, we're twins but he's better than me in so many aspects.", Rosé continued.

And Jungwoo shook his head at how down to earth his bestfriend was.

"Not true but anyway, let's eat. I'm starving.", Jungwoo said as he took out some fries from the paperbag.

As they ate, Rosé then thought of the night she got drunk. She was fighting the urge to ask Jungwoo if she had said anything she wasn't supposed to that night.

Just then Jungwoo's phone dinged, and he scoffed when he saw it was some random girl.

"What the hell.", Jungwoo mumbled, annoyed as he looked at the notification.

"Why? What's wrong?", Rosé asked, Jungwoo then shook his head with a sigh.

"Nothing. It's just being Byungchan's roommate sometimes can be such a hassle.", Jungwoo complained.

"Why?", Rosé raised an eyebrow, "What did he do?", Rosé inquired.

"No. It's not him.", Jungwoo shooo his head, "It's just sometimes the girls he hook up with reach out to me asking about Chan. It gets really annoying.", Jungwoo said, "Look.", he said as he showed Rosé the messages he had gotten, and Rosé puffed up her cheeks at the name she saw.

"Aera..", Rosé said quietly as her face fell.

"You know her?", Jungwoo asked as he took a sip of his sprite.

"Huh? No. Byungchan might have mentioned her a few times to me..", Rosé half-shrugged, and Jungwoo's mind then went back to Rosé's drunken confession two weeks ago.

"Well, don't worry.", Jungwoo comforted, "He's not serious with her.", Jungwoo said cautiously, and Rosé raised an eyebrow at his response.

"Why would I..", Rosé then stopped mid sentence, as she gasped as her words that Friday night came back to her in waves, Jungwoo then scratched his head, realising what he had just done.

He said that on purpose, he remembers the heartache in Rosé's voice when she talked about Byungchan that night, and Jungwoo wanted to let her know that he was there for her, she didn't have to cry about her pain alone.

"Wait. Fuck. Jungwoo..what did I say to you that night?!", Rosé panicked, and Jungwoo swallowed at her reaction thinking that maybe he should've thought this through, "Jungwoo!!", Rosé urged.
