It was a Thursday afternoon, and Jisoo had just ended her last class of the day, she sighed in relief, the first week of college has been going well so far, and she was handling it better than she expected.

Jisoo glanced down at the watch and saw that it was 2PM. She then pulled her phone out and decided to text the groupchat.

To : Jungwoo & losers
From : Jisoo

Hey, who's free? let's hang!! i have no classes anynore for today.

She then put her phone away, as she walked with a couple of books in her arms, her phone than rang and she saw that it was Jaehyun and Jisoo smiled when she figured that Jaehyun must have seen her message in the groupchat.

"Hey Jae. You're free aren't you?", Jisoo said, cheerfully.

"Hey Chu!! Yeah!! Jennie and I were just planning to go get some ice-cream.", Jaehyun replied, "Join us!!", Jaehyun said.

"Okay. I'll see you guys in the parking lot.", Jisoo smiled, she then walked as she checked the messages in the groupchat, where Rosé, Byungchan and Jungwoo had told the rest to go ahead since the three of them still had classes for the day.

Jisoo sighed in relief as she walked, eyes still glued to her phonescreen. She was then startled when she felt herself bumping into somebody, causing her to stumble backwards, almost falling until the person caught her.

"Shit, I'm sorry.", the person said, slightly freaked out as he held on to Jisoo, and Jisoo's heart stopped at the sound of his voice because she would've recognised that voice anywhere, "Are you okay?", the person asked gently.

Jisoo looked up and her heart shattered when their eyes met.

Jinyoung felt his whole world stop when he discovered that it was Jisoo. Jisoo then yanked her arms away from his hold, taken aback at the situation, she felt like her legs were going to give out.

"J-jisoo..", Jinyoung stammered, and Jisoo was stunned, Jisoo then took a few steps backwards, she was heavy breathing.

It all came back to her, the memories of them together, the day he broke her heart, the way Jaehyun had held her in the café to comfort her, the way she cried in front of her five friends, and all the yearning she did–wishing he would just come back.

It all came back to her in waves, and she felt like she was drowning.

She felt a big lump forming in her throat, she glitched. She didn't know what to do–a part of her wanted to crash into his arms, telling him how much she missed him but another part of her felt screaming in his face, asking him why did he leave her with no explanations.

Jinyoung on the other hand felt his lips getting dry and he felt a rush of guilt seeing a pale Jisoo right in front of him, she looked like she had just seen a ghost.

He couldn't form words, he had so many things that he wanted to say. He wanted to say that he was sorry, and that he was such a stupid fucking asshole for leaving her behind just like that.

"Jisoo..I..", Jinyoung trailed, "H-how have you been?", Jinyoung blurt out, he mentally punched himself for that, knowing how stupid it was to ask her such a question, Jisoo then glanced upat him–somewhat in disbelief–, eyes glassy. Finally regaining herself, she then swallowed as she quickly tried to walk pass him.
