"Hey!", Rosé said over the phone as she went outside of the mansion, "Yeah, sure why not?", Rosé said nonchalantly as she walked around aimlessly.

"Are you sure we can? Won't anyone get upset?", Eunwoo snickered over the line–referring to Byungchan–and Rosé let out an unamused laugh.

"He's just..", Rosé trailed.

"Jealous.", Eunwoo said and Rosé frowned.

"Protective.", Rosé corrected him, "But the point is..we can study together tomorrow, we're classmates and we live nearby too. I don't see why not.", Rosé clarified.

"True. Okay. I'll see you tomorrow.", Eunwoo said and they then hung up, she then sighed, nervous about finals. She then decided to take a walk around the neighbourhood.

She was humming until she saw a car infront of Byungchan's house, and she raised an eyebrow. She then saw Byungchan talking to a girl, just a few feet away from the car. It seemed like the girl was just leaving.

Suddenly, Byungchan pulled the girl in a hug and she he swayed them slowly back and forth as the girl laughed. Rosé swallowed at the sight and she then realised that the girl was Aera. The same girl she had met in Byungchan and Jungwoo's apartment a month ago.

Rosé pursed her lips together as she turned back, deciding to walk to Jungwoo's place instead. Less than five minutes later she was already in front of Jungwoo's front door. And to her surprise, his mother opened it.

"Chaeyoung?", Jungwoo's mother's face lit up.

"Aunt Jungyeon?", Rosé smiled, she then crashed into Jungyeon for a hug.

"Hi. Hi! It's been so long.", Jungyeon smiled, "Jungwoo didn't say you were coming over, if not I could've picked up those fruit tarts for you.", she frowned slightly.

"No. No, it's fine.", Rosé assured, "l don't think Jungwoo knows I'm here. I was just taking a walk and decided to drop by.", Rosé smiled tightly.

"He's up in his room. Go say hi.", Jungyeon smiled letting Rosé in. Rosé then headed upstairs and went over straight to Jungwoo's room.

Jungwoo on the other hand had just finished revising, he was on his phone watching some videos. Suddenly, he heard a knock on his door.

"Mum, it's okay! I don't need anything.", Jungwoo called out mindlessly. Suddenly, the door opened and Rosé walked in.

"I'm not Mum. But hey.", Rosé said.

"Chaeng!", Jungwoo exclaimed with a smile, "I was just about to ask the groupchat if you guys wanted to go get McDonalds or something.", Jungwoo said as Rosé plopped down on his bed beside him.

"Sounds good. But I didn't bring my purse.", Rosé said.

"It's okay. You can just grab it later when I drive past your house.", Jungwoo said, "Let me ask the groupchat.", Jungwoo said as he typed the message.

"Chan is probably occupied.", Rosé blurt out and Jungwoo raised an eyebrow at his bestfriend.

"What do you mean?", Jungwoo asked, and Rosé swallowed thickly at his question.

"Just because.", Rosé shrugged and Jungwoo gave her a look of confusion.

"What? Did you guys fight again?", Jungwoo asked, and Rosé shook her head as she frowned.
