"Nayeon, I think I want to try again with Jisoo.", Jinyoung blurt out, and Nayeon inhaled at that.

"Okay. Come in first, I'll fix you up something warm.", Nayeon said, and Jinyoung exhaled as he did.

Less than ten minutes later, they were in the kitchen, talking over some coffee. Nayeon stirred her coffee as she watched Jinyoung zone out, clearly having a lot on his mind.

"Why all of a sudden?", Nayeon then asked, cautiously, snapping Jinyoung out of his trance.

"Didn't you say I should give it another try?", Jinyoung then asked, frowning.

"I did.", Nayeon responded, "But you switched up so quick, I just want to know why the sudden change of mind.", Nayeon said, genuinely curious. And Jinyoung's looked up at her, dazed, he then pursed his lips together at that.

"Just because..", Jinyoung trailed and Nayeon frowned, "I can't stop thinking about her okay?", Jinyoung then confessed in defeat, "I never have, and I remember what you told me that night I left for London.", Jinyoung rambled, "Something about how if people come back to you it means they're yours?", Jinyoung said, almost desperate, and it tore Nayeon apart seeing him falling apart like this.

"Right.", Nayeon said with a sad grimace, "If they come back, they're yours. If they don't they never were.", Nayeon said as she swallowed.

"Then is this not Jisoo coming back? Is this not me coming back to her?", Jinyoung asked, hopeful. Nayeon inhaled.

"Go for it. Ask her to try again.", Nayeon encouraged suddenly with a small smile, "Clearly you can't stop thinking about her, and she seems just as frazzled.", Nayeon shrugged, "Go for it.", Nayeon smiled, and Jinyoung broke out into a small smile, all he needed was reassurance.

"But, make sure it doesn't disrupt your professional relationship.", Nayeon then reminded and Jinyoung nodded, though before they could carry on with the conversation, Nayeon's phone then rang, catching both their attentions. The caller ID popping up with a familiar name. Doyoung.

Jinyoung raised his eyebrows at that and Nayeon silently cussed under her breath immediately taking her phone, and putting it on silent.

"Is that Kim Doyoung from college!?!!!", Jinyoung exclaimed, eyes widening.

"No. It's a client.", Nayeon said, putting on a pokerface. And Jinyoung scoffed.

"Why is a client calling you past 10PM?", Jinyoung pointed out and Nayeon glared at that.

"What are you doing at my house past 10PM?", Nayeon shot, and Jinyoung smirked at her reaction, Jinyoung then glanced at the brown coat a few feet away from the dining table. The truth is he had noticed it the moment he walked in but he had been too frazzled to ask at first.

"So it's his coat.", Jinyoung said knowingly and Nayeon huffed, having been caught, "So I'm right?", Jinyoung said, surprised.

"I wouldn't say you're entirely right.", Nayeon said, "But we have been talking and I don't know we just started seeing each other and it's been going on for three months now.", Nayeon shrugged and Jinyoung's jaw dropped.

"And you say I'm the secretive one?", Jinyoung said in disbelief and Nayeon chuckled.

"No. I didn't think it would escalate like this honestly, because back in college we only ever spoke to each other about work.", Nayeon trailed, "But that day we bumped into each other, somehow we just felt this spark or something but I don't...I don't know.", Nayeon mumbled as she sipped on her coffee, clearly bothered and now it was Jinyoung's turn to be the shoulder to cry on.
