Rosé was out with Byungchan that Friday night, at some pizza place for dinner.

"Jisoo's sick.", Rosé frowned as she read the groupchat, "Oh my god, Jungwoo said Jinyoung was the one who took her home.", Rosé said, shocked.

"What?", Byungchan said, just as surprised. Rosé then put her phone down with a small sigh.

"I can't imagine being in Jisoo's shoes.", Rosé said, sympathetically, "It's like they want it to work so badly, but at the same time it's just not that simple. It's complicated.", Rosé said, with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"That's love though, isn't it?", Byungchan said nonchalantly, "Complicated.", Byungchan added, and Rosé inhaled as she looked at Byungchan.

"Right.", Rosé nodded, "And it's scary too.", Rosé said, feeling nervous, "Falling in love is scary.", Rosé said, almost softly.

"I agree.", Byungchan nodded, he then looked up at Rosé, and their eyes met, causing a feeling of tenderness to sweep through him, "But..", Byungchan trailed, "...if it's with the right person, don't you think it's worth being scared? In fact, maybe it's not even scary at all.", Byungchan said, and Rosé inhaled at his question.

"I guess. But how do you know it's the right person anyway?", Rosé said as she sipped on her soda, keeping her cool.

Before Byungchan could answer her though, Rosé's phone rang, catching both of their attentions, Rosé's heart dropped when she saw the caller ID–H. She immediately took it, hoping Byungchan didn't manage to see the caller ID.

She quickly excused herself to the restroom, taking her phone with her, leaving Byungchan dumbfounded. The way Rosé acted was suspicious and he wondered who H was.

Rosé sighed as she answered the phone.

"Yes, Hongbin? I told you, you can't call me like this.", Rosé said, slightly irritated.

"I'm sorry. Roséanne, are you not going to give me a chance at all?", Hongbin asked, pleadingly. Hongbin had been talking–or being a bother–to her for nearly two weeks now.

"Hongbin, we've been through this. This is inappropriate okay, I'm Jaehyun's sister, and you have put my brother through so much shit.", Rosé said, now it was her turn to plead.

"And how many times do I have to tell you that it's all just some immature highschool bullshit?", Hongbin said.

"You almost got him suspended, Hongbin.", Rosé pointed out.

"So? It was in highschool.", Hongbin said, and Rosé felt frustrated at how pushy he was being.

"Are you trying to pursue me to get back at Jaehyun or something?", Rosé said with a slight scoff, "I know what this is.", Rosé said and Hongbin let out a chuckle.

"Roséanne you know what, if you don't want to go out with me, I'll ask Jaehyun myself.", Hongbin said with a devilish smirk.

"Is that an ultimatum?", Rosé said in disbelief, "Are you threatening me?", Rosé said, pissed.

"No.", Hongbin said with an innocent chuckle, "Why would you consider it an ultimatum?", he pointed out, "Ah, right, because you know if I even had the audacity to ask Jaehyun he would put me in a grave and get in trouble like he did in highschool, am I right?", Hongbin smirked, knowing that Rosé was now trapped.
