Jessica Rogers' eyes flickered back and forth between the papers in her hands, the woman gasping as she stood.

She ran over to the other side of the room, picking up a pen as she mumbled to herself over and over again aimlessly, completely unaware that her sister was standing in the doorway to her room with a tray of food.

It had been a week since her miscarriage and Jessica Rogers had quickly gone from the long depressive state she was stuck in to a chaotic manic, realizing several things after her complete mental breakdown.

The first had been that, in her mind at least, this was all her fault. Second, because she believed that this was her fault, she had to begin taking care of herself- something Steve would have wanted her to do as well.

And lastly, and what seemed to be the most important to Jessica, she realized that what she had experienced with her and Steve's unborn child was truly a soul leaving the earth and what had happened with her best friend was not.

Which meant Bucky was still alive.

The realization had Jessica Rogers reeling, the woman redrawing the map of Hydra bases that Steve had accounted for many months ago.

Jessica hadn't heard Lydia's callings of her names until the forth try, the redhead's eyes snapping toward her twin.

"Oh, did you say something?"

Lydia furrowed her brow, closing the door behind her with her hip and said, "Yes, I called you four times."

She looked around the room, noticing Jessica was in the clothes she had been two days ago.

"Jess," She paused, "When was the last time you changed your clothes? Or had a shower?"

"I don't know, I've been busy," Jessica shrugged her off, looking back at her paper of plans. Lydia hummed, "Uh huh, as I can see. What're you exactly doing here?"

Jessica thought for a moment before she whispered, "Bucky's not dead."

"What?" Lydia's brow furrowed, "You said that he fell off a train."

"Yes, he did. But he's not dead. I realized that I would have felt it. I only felt that he was close to death, meaning that he survived somehow," Jessica shook her head quickly, "I only only realized it when-"

She cut herself off as her eyes slightly dulled, not being able to say the words.

Lydia only nodded, knowing she had been able to decipher the difference when she had the miscarriage, the loss of her child's soul leaving the Earth completely shattering the woman in a way that Steve and Bucky's death hadn't.
