chapter 2- third year

          i want to talk with draco more but i don't, because he is just sitting there on the couch. staring the fire, not saying anything. so i decide to leave for a while then come back to talk.

      as i start walking to the door he gets up and walks over to me.

      "where do you think you're going?" he asked grabbing my shoulder.

       "i just want to see the place."

       "i'll take you. where do you want to go?"

        "well i was thinking-" i start to say but quickly get cut off.

         "i know a place, come on."

    wait aren't i in control of this thing? i want to go to the library, but i can bet anything that's not where im going.

         he turns a bunch of corners, and goes up some stairs not bothering to wait for me or even check to see if im there. then we get to what looks like the astronomy tower. the view is everything i thought it would be. i look up at the sky in amazement.

          "wow," is all i managed to say. draco rested his elbows on the railing and looked up.

           "do you come here a lot?" i ask. 

           "on occasions."

            "i love it here." i say in a daze.

            "yeah well im heading back." draco says and quickly walks off.

             "but we just-" i turn around to see draco gone. he left me here? that's not what i scripted. why is nothing i planned happening? did i fuck something up again. great.

          i take one last look at the sky. everything looks so real, it feels so real. i love it here. slowly i drag myself back inside and stumble down the steps. im so tired. wait do people get tired in dreams? probably. wait where the hell are my dorms? and where did draco go? minutes go by and im still wandering the halls trying to find the stupid dormitories.

         "lost?" a soft voice asks me. i turn around quickly and see luna lovegood smiling gently at me.

         "yes actually i am." i say laughing.

         "oh well i can help you with that, where are you headed?" she asks noticing my accent and smiling even wider.

         "you are transfer student from ilvermorny?"

         "yep, my name's y/n l/n, and what's your name?"

            "luna lovegood, i think i sleep walked out here. you must have woke me. what are you doing out at this hour?"

             "oh- uh, couldn't sleep."

              "and im headed to the slytherin dorms but kinda got lost." i say embarrassed.

              "well that's okay, i know the way. come along." she says giving me a soft smile.

       we walk down some hallways, and she leads me to my dorms.

             "here you are." luna says as we reach the doors.

              "thank you so much, you're a life saver."

              "oh it's no problem, maybe next time you can save my life?" she flashes me a sweet smile and walks away.

             even though absolutely none of that was scripted, i still enjoyed every second of it. quietly, i walk to my dorms but someone grabs my wrists.
