chapter 34- fourth year

    as soon as i step into the maze i can no longer here the playful music.

  it's dark and quiet. no one but me is in sight.

  i start to walk down the paths. going faster with every step i make until im practically running.

   i turn my head to glance behind me for a second when i collide with someone i front of me. i fall to the floor and look up at the boy who stands in front of me.

  it's cedric.

    "sorry-sorry." i say and he extends his arm to me, offering to pull me up. i grab his hand and pull my self up from the grass beneath me.

    "thanks." i say and right as he was about to say something the walls of the maze collapse on us.

   he grabs my arm again pulling me through the maze. i almost scream as the walls get tighter. he starts to run now pulling me along with him. i almost trip but his grasp pulls me up.

  we make it out and i put my hands on my knees to catch my breath.

   "thank you-"

   "don't worry about it- i wasn't going to leave you to die." he says through some heavy breaths.

   after we catch our breaths we begin to run down a couple paths.

after a few minutes i hear a scream.

  fleur.

  i run faster and faster. i will not let someone get hurt here. i glance back and notice cedric is gone. shit- where did he go?
  i bear another scream. the thought of turning back to find cedric leaves my mind, and i run faster towards the screams.

  as i turn a corner i see krum over fleur. my heart drops as he looks over to me. his eyes are white.

  he's bewitched.

i take a slow step back, quickly he bolts up and grabs my arm throwing me into the wall.

"what did you do?" i mutter looking towards fleur who's still on the floor, lifeless.

he grabs my wrist tighter and i wince in pain. then he throws me to the ground, and points his wand at me. i can barely say anything before i bolt of light flies out of his wand, right at me.

i instantly feel a sharp burning pain on my arm. then my legs. then my torsoe. i clutch my body, and a ringing blares in my ears.
i grab my body and feel warm fluids seeping through my clothes.

blood.

the pain begins to get worse and i can barley breathe. i can't even scream. i can't move.

he's still standing in front of me, his wand pointed at my body. from the corner of my eye i see harry running towards us.
krum seems to notice because he pulls out his wand. i try to say something but nothing comes out.

my eyes begin to get heavy as a wave of intense pain hits me.

nothing. i see nothing. everything goes black.

i wake up to find me getting pulled up to the ground by cedric. he looks at me then to the maze in front of him.

harry comes up beside us and we all look forward then to each other.

my arms are still on fire. my legs are numb. and my stomach is wet with blood.

cedric takes one last sympathetic glance my direction and then blots forward. he's fucking delusional if he thinks im going to just give up after all this.
