i hopped of the train with blaise right behind me. draco and pansy behind him.

"make sure to owl me, okay?" blaise says stepping onto the platform.

"i know, i know i will if pansy doesn't kill me by then." i joke and we both laugh.

"are you going to owl me too y/l/n?" draco asks walking up to me from behind blaise.

"i'll think about it." i say smirking.

pansy ran over to us and threw her arms around draco's waist.

"im going to miss you so much." she says cupping draco's face with her hands.

i turn around and start talking to blaise again.
"so do you have any plans for the summer?"

"not really, father will want me to stay home and study for fourth year though." he says rolling his eyes.

"i have to spend the whole summer with pansy- so we'll see who has it worse." i say laughing.

pansy walks over to us, "okay come on y/n, mother and father are here."

i turn to her and grab my luggage, then turn back to blaise and pull him in for a hug. i smile back and head for pansy who's already walking to her parents.

"going to leave without saying goodbye? how rude." draco says pulling me away from where i was headed.

"thought you were to busy confessing your love to her?"

"goodbye y/n, hope to see you soon." he says ignoring my comment.

"goodbye draco- have a good summer." i smile back at him and walk off towards pansy, trying to catch up with her.

it's been a couple of weeks since break has started. living with pansy is- well different. okay it's bad. she wakes up early every morning and takes a long shower, using up all the hot water. then she spends hours in the bathroom getting ready and won't let anyone in.

she drives me crazy with all the shopping she does. like everyday she gets 2 new pairs of green heels that's she's probably never going to wear.

and she has became even more obsessed with draco. practically everyday she talks about him, and over thinks every letter she sends him. especially when he doesn't write back.

then one day his owl flies in, while she is nagging me about draco. again. it's dracos owl so she flings herself off the bed and over to the windowsill, ripping open the white envelope.

"to pansy and y/n," she starts to read it aloud, "mother and father decided it would be nice to have you both over, and your parents pansy. dress nice it's a formal dinner with some other family friends. d.m."

she screams, "my god y/n! draco invited me to a dinner."

"and me." i state trying not to roll my eyes.
"well yeah, and you- this is basically a date! ahh! we have to get ready." she says dragging me off the bed.

she pulls me into her huge bathroom and takes out buckets of makeup. she applies her dark green eyeshadow, fake lashes, mascara, and lipstick, with some light pink blush.

it's my turn and i brush out my hair and grab the eyeliner, drawling a small wing. then i take some blush and lightly apply it to my cheeks making them rosy. i then apply mascara and make my freckles a little bit more distinctive.

she looks at me and smiles faintly, darting to her huge closet. then pulls out a green short dress that is surprising a little simpler then what she'd normally go for. maybe she did change since school. i go over to my side of the closet and pull out a black silky dress. it's simple but perfect.
