(Y/N)'s POV...
Me, Mike and Randy all entered the school after touching a statue's claw on the way inside. We looked around and saw some mini legends statues with scream canisters next to them.
"Woah..." Mike's mouth dropped as Randy quickly made his way to three empty seats. Me and Mike ran over to him. Mike sat in the middle, and I sat next to a bigger monster who had really thick red fur. He scoffed at Mike as I snarled at him. He whinced and looked away.
"Creepy..." He whsipered quietly.
We all payed attention as the teacher began to talk.
"Good morning, students. Welcome to Scaring 101. My name is Professor Knight. I am very sure that you all were the most scariest monster of your home town. Now the bad news is that your in my town, and I do not scare easily!" He spoke before quickly jumping at a sudden loud noise. It caused most of us to jump. A flying monster closed the curtains, flew around us then landed loudly behind Professor Knight.
Randy was indeed scared.
"Dean Hardscrabble. This is a pleasant surprise to see you today." Professor Knight spoke nervously as she stayed silent, and walked past him on her multiple amounts of feet.
I then heard Mike whisper that she was a legend and broke the scream record in that very can she was now standing next to.
"I don't mean to interrupt. I just thought I would drop by to see the terrifying faces that are joining my programme." She spoke with a small smile appearing on her face while she was speaking.
I noticed the glass began to whisper to each other in shock and worry as my sensitive ears twitched slightly.
"Well, I am sure that my students would love to hear a few words of inspiration." He asked calmly with an extremely shy smile on his face now.
Me, Randy and Mike didn't dare speak as we watched the two adults have their tiny conversation.
"Inspiration? Very well. Scariness is the true measure of a monster. If you are not scary... What kind of a monster are you?" She asked as I gulped in my seat, watching the dean walk around the massive room. "It is my job to make great monsters even greater, and not make medicore students less medicore." This caused some of the monsters, including mine and Mike's, eyes all widen with shock and loads of thoughts. "That is why at the end of the semester there will be a final exam. If you fail that exam then you are out of the Scaring Programme." Now at this point, most monsters, including me, all gasp and murmur to each other about it. "So, I should hope you're all properly inspired." She lastly spoke before her huge wings extended as she flew out of the window.
Me, Mike and Randy all whispered about that moment as we could tell the lizard was terrified to the bone. We jumped slightly at the voice of the professor.
"All right. All right." He stretched up straight while looking around at the class. "Who can tell me the properties of an effective roar?" He then walkes forward a couple of feet as Mike soon after raised his small green hand. "Yes?" He made eye contact with my new friend. Mike got out of his seat and began to speak.
"There are actually five. Those include the roar's resonance, the duration of the roar, and the..." He was cut off by a huge, load roar coming from the door. A tall, furry monster was standing there in a position roaring with pride. When we saw him, Randy gasped slightly.
"Isn't that the big guy we saw earlier?" I asked as Mike only nodded in response.
"Whoops, sorry. I heard someone say 'roar' so I just kind of went for it." He went to cross past some students. "Oh, excuse me, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you there. Hey, how are you doing?" He was such a big furry show off. I watched him with my slightly glowing eyes as he managed to find a seat. Mike was slightly amused and Randy was just... plainly nervous still.
