McGee: so he going to walk again. Palmer: what you want to do here Abby. Nurse: shakes her head. * no I'm sorry he won't. McGee: why he is so much pain though.  Nurse: he needs surgery to remove a disk to limit his pain. McGee: why. Nurse: the swelling is pushing on a disk that pushing on another one that's causing him pain. McGee: ok can we do it now. Nurse: we need to inform Gibbs. McGee: calls Abby*. Abby: answers it* yes. McGee is Gibbs up. Gibbs: groans. Who is it, Abby? McGee: Abby this is important. Abby: here Gibbs* puts it on speakerphone*. Ziva: TONY'S HAVING SURGERY. McGee: you didn't have to yell. Gibbs: WHAT* bolts up*. Why. McGee: something about a disk here's the nurse. Gibbs: no need I understand. Do the surgery, please. Nurse: you sure Gibbs. Gibbs: Yes. My fiancee doesn't deserve to be in pain. Nurse: ok also you need to know he won't be able to walk again I'm sorry Gibbs. Gibbs: w what*is shocked* poor tony. Palmer: what happened. Gibbs: t tony I am paralyzed. * starts sobbing*. Palmer: takes the phone and talks with the nurse about how a home should be for a wheelchair-bound person

Doctor: prepares Tony for surgery.
Gibbs: This is all my fault. Abby: no it's not. Gibbs: if I didn't yell at him he wouldn't have been kidnapped. Abby: Gibbs don't take this out on yourself Tony needs you now than ever
Palmer: I'm going look for a flooring person to make this a more levelled area. and this isn't your fault Gibbs. Gibbs: nods.Tony: mm lightly wakes up* what's going on why can't I feel my legs. Nurse: you're paralyzed. Tony: ok for a few months. Nurse: no permanently. Tony: But *SCREAMS IN PAIN*. Nurse: let's go. Nurse: I'm sorry but he's at home. Tony: pain tons of it. Doc: gives Tony a sedative*. Tony: goes unconsciously. Doc: starts the surgery*  Palmer: found one.Gibbs: nods*is still sobbing*.  Abby: hey what does Tony likes the most. Gibbs: me and his cars. Gibbs: ya but he can't drive it*starts sobbing again*. Abby: he has you I beat that all he cares about now you and your good with wood so you could make something like a ramp or a sign to hang on the door right. Gibbs: b but what about work. Abby: we can talk to Vance about it. Gibbs: h he won't survive being stuck to a desk. Abby: he can help me down in the lab. Gibbs: Abby you know that's not his thing. He prefers to be out in the field and investigation. Abby: when your out in the field he can be with me and when you interrogate someone he can help you. Abby: unless you can find an off-trail wheelchair him. Doc: removes the disk. Gibbs: Abby he can't die. I need him * launches himself onto her lap and cries*. Abby: rubs Gibbs back* it's ok Gibbs shh
Doc: finishes surgery*. Gibbs: Abby I love him I really do. Gibbs: answers. He better be ok or there will be hell to pay. Doc: he did good he's in recovery right now.
Gibbs: thank God* cries in relief and happiness*. Doc: you probably see him tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Gibbs: is there a chance he will walk again.
Doctor: it's a 50 / 50 chance. Abby: holding Gibbs still*. Gibbs: at least he has half a chance* moves from Abby* thanks abbs. Abby: nods*
Ziva: sleeping against McGee*. Tony: sleeping soundly on his stomach*. (morning)
Palmer: making something to eat*
Abby: turns the TV to look for something to watch*. Gibbs: wakes up* Abby I'm hungry. Palmer: well all you have is beer and steak. Abby: well looks like I'm going shopping for food.Gibbs: no just go to Tony's house. We bought a whole bunch of food there when he was sick. Palmer: ok I'll go to his house to pick it up *leaves the house and goes to Tony's house*. Abby: feeling any better. Gibbs: ya A little curls up and falls asleep. Abby: pulls the covers up more on Gibbs. Palmer: *brings all Tony's food to Gibbs's house* Hey Abby. Abby: hey Palmer. Is there any soup. Palmer: yeah and fluids stuff. Tony: *slowly waking up*. Abby: good hey Gibbs what do you want to drink. Ziva: hey tony how's your back feeling. Gibbs: *snoring*. Tony: sore but still can't feel feet. Nurse: walks into the room ya there not much of a chance you'll wAlk again. So you'll need to rely on yourself, your and your family. Tony: sighs* what about a wheelchair and my house. Ziva: you'll be living with Gibbs. Abby, Palmer and Gibbs are making it wheelchair accessible. Tony: when can I go home.  Nurse: once the doctor checks you over. And it won't be ducky. Tony: ok. Tony: sit up yet*. Nurse: ill send the doctor in* heads out of the room before talking to a doctor then heAds into ducky's room. Hey, ducky how you feeling. Tony should be able to go home today and so should you. Doctor: no sir you can't. Tony: pouts*
Ducky: a lot better. Nurse: that's good you should be able to go home soon. Although you will still feel slightly sick and might even be sick. Ducky: I feel ok at the moment. Can I go see tony? Tony: why can't I move off my stomach yet *yawns*. Palmer: I think he wants sleep Abby *looks over at a sleeping Gibbs*. Doctor: bc you just had surgery on your back a couple of hours ago. Abby: I would say so. Nurse: sure. Just take the iv pole with you ok. Tony: nods *goes back to sleep*. Ziva: *pets Tony's hair*. Ducky: slowly gets up before grabbing the iv pole and walking to tonys room. Hey guys. McGee: *gets up and gives Ducky the chair* hey how you feeling. Ziva: hi. Ducky: thanks* sits down* slightly better. Still exhausted. I thought I would come to see how tony's doing. But I see he's sleeping again.
