Slowly I heard footsteps and then all at once they were running and suddenly I was cowering against the wall. There was a dauntless man in front of me. One of the leaders. He yanked my arm.
"What are you doing here?!"
I shrunk away from him, and looked at the ground.
"You should be in training not all the way down here. Come on!"
I walked with the leader and stared at the ground. His grip was tight and starting to hurt. I notice Chase, but he was hidden well. He looked at me and help up his fingers. I shook my head. I nodded towards the door and Chase got the message. He slipped into the shadows and slunk away towards the door.
I glanced at the leader. He was busy checking a schedule on his office. I chose that moment to strike.
I swung my elbow back and slammed it into his ribs. I yanked my arm away as he reached for me. He grimaced and swung his fist at me. I moved my head away and blocked the blow with my forearms.
The pain was stinging. I quickly let loose my anger and kicked him in the shins. Hard. Then I ran towards the door, dodging guards and throwing random things at the leader. I reached the door and sprinted outside. Once I got out side I was Chase and Reese and they sprinted along with me and we took a path around the abnegation sector to get away from the angry yells that chased us.
I panted and we slowed to a walk. We were all breathing heavily and we walked the rest of the way back to the faction less headquarters.
