A/N the character in this is human, also they're the one to start off speaking...
________________"Imagine two Elflings. Probably about twenty five, smart, but still naive to the outside world. To them the songs of ancient wars, and great deaths are only a dream. A distant memory.
'They're playing in a meadow, perhaps they're singing or making flower crowns for each other. They're happy and oblivious to their surroundings. Why shouldn't they be? They've been under their parents care for all of their short lives...
'A hunter—human—comes upon them. His heart is gladdened at the happy sight of the two beautiful children playing together without a care in the world.
'But he sees something they do not. Three orcs are coming towards them. Two he could easily take down, but three? It would be difficult, but he might be able to mange it and sustain little injury.
'He readies his bow, and is about to lose the arrow. But he notices something for the first time, those two children aren't human at all.
'Should he risk his life for two people that aren't his own race?
'Would you have him loose the arrow or walk away?"
Elrond sighed, "I would have him loose the arrow."
"Then help us! Let loose the arrow and save their lives!"
