Sang

"Who the fuck did this?" Nathan asks me his voice deadly calm. I look back to him and try to form the words but nothing comes out. Gabriel and Nathan share a look before Nathan pulls out his phone. He walks ahead of us and talks softly so I can't hear it.

Gabriel takes my hand gently and leads me after Nathan. They don't say anything to me as we walk. Soon enough we are outside of a familiar set of doors. They walk in without knocking this time. All of my boys are in there looking concerned. Sean steps forward moving to me.

"Now, Pookie," he tells me as he guides me to the couch. North and Silas sit on either end so he places me in the middle. "Tell me where it hurts."

Head, arm. I tell him motioning to each area. He immediately begins looking at each area first focusing on my head. I wince as he probes the area.

"Sang, what happened?" Owen asks in his alpha tone that demands an answer. I open up to all the boys and explain as best I can.

Jade... Before I can't get another word out Gabriel explodes.

"We should have known that fucking bitch would try something," he yells before pacing the room yet again.

"Gabriel," Owen starts. "Report."

"The fucking bitch tripped Trouble early and then proceeded to glare daggers at her anytime she was around her the rest of the day. We should have fucking known," he says gripping his own hair tightly. I wince at the painful looking grip.

I move before anyone can object sliding past Sean. Gabriel stops when I reach him looking at me questioningly. I slowly reach up and gently detach his hands from his hair holding them in my own instead. Tugging him forward, I pull him toward the sofa noticing Silas has moved. I nod my thanks to him before sitting with Gabriel on the couch.

"Not your fault," I tell him. He huffs out a sigh but seems better now. Sean restarts his examination and I turn back to Owen.

I was changing back after gym. She blocked my way out and then pushed me down. She gripped my hair really hard and yanked me around before tearing my sleeve. I sum up the series of events as best I can. The hazy images are still bothering me but I don't even know how to begin to describe them.

Owen nods and pulls Kota, North, and Nathan aside to form a plan on how to deal with Jade. Sean gives me an ice pack for my head while he cleans and bandages my arm. I watch him work my thoughts still racing. I hate this. I have ever since I realized there is so much I don't understand. I don't understand why she would do that. I don't understand what she called me. I don't understand the other images I saw that were becoming fainter in my memory with every passing second. I just don't understand and I hate it.

"There we go, good as new!" Sean tells me cheerfully. I barely nod in acknowledgement. He pauses and bends down in front of me resting his hands on my knees. He stares at me concern prevalent in his gaze.

"What's up, Pookie?" he asks. I shrug not liking how much was in fact up with me. "Remember Pookie, we will answer any questions you have, no judgement, no hassle." I breathe out a heavy sigh. They could help. They always do. I just don't like how much I depend on them for everything. The world is so much bigger and so much more complicated than I ever thought was possible.

Why would she do this? I ask Sean directly hoping to minimize any embarrassment.

"Some people when they are jealous or see someone as in the way try to remove that person through intimidation and sometimes assault."
