Harry puts on his invisibility cloak and runs in the bar. Hermione and Ron start to enter but turn to me.

"You guys go ahead... I'm fine out here..." I say, feeling overwhelmed. I feel oddly sick for no reason, weak and achy. Probably a cold.

The two walk back out to me, kicked out apparently. We all walk to a bench and I sit down, feeling light headed. I close my eyes and lean back a bit, trying to regain myself.

"Y/n?" Ron startles me. "You alright? You look... pale." I nod. Hermione reaches her hand over and places it on my forehead.

"You're burning up!!" She cries out. Feels like it. "Ron, you stay with Harry. I'm taking her to Madam Pomfrey!" Ron agrees and I stand up, the world spins and I almost fall back down but Ron steadies me.

Regaining my balance, I walk with Mione up to the castle. Midway through, i start shivering and try to hide it. I start leaning on Hermione a little, feeling dizzy again.

I'm so focused on not falling that I don't notice stormy grey eyes staring at me as I walk in the castle.

I finally sit on a cot, relaxing a little, still shivering. Madam Pomfrey gives me blankets and gives me a few drops of potion. It tasted like mint, kinda refreshing honestly. Turns out not only am I sick, but also dehydrated. Oops.

I lay back and find myself drifting to sleep. When I wake up I hear Harry, Ron, and Hermione talking.

"You guys go, Ill stay with her. Harry you need food after today." Hermione says. After a little back and forth I hear footsteps exit the room. Still exhausted, I think about going back to sleep, but pause when I hear another set of footsteps entering.

"What are you doing here?" Hermiones voice sneers.

"I heard she was sick.. and just wanted to check. I guess I'll come back later." The voice is familiar.

"No wait... I'm sorry. Come on over, she's asleep still." Hermione says.

"Are you sure?" Then it hits me, it's Draco. He came to see me.

I feel a presence by my side.

"What did Madam Pomfrey say?" He asks, grabbing hold of my hand.

"She's sick, fever plus dehydration ended up here. She should be better soon." Hermione explains. There's a heavy silence. "Malfoy... why are you here?" He sighs.

"I don't think that's any of your concern." Draco snaps.

"You don't have to act all tough, Malfoy. I'm her friend, I haven't had a chance to talk to her about it yet."

"It really isn't important, Granger."

"Alright. Well, if you'll stay with her, I'll give you some alone time and head to dinner with Ron and Harry. Thank you, Malfoy." I hear her footsteps leave.

Draco squeezes my hand. I act like i'm still asleep and push closer, wanting his warmth. He stiffens up, as I cuddle his hand towards my face. Seeing i'm still 'asleep' he relaxes, and after a few minutes I feel his thumb stroke my face.

When he opens up, Draco is a huge softy. Why is he opening up to me? And this fast? I don't know. I can't help but start to fall asleep again.

I slowly open my eyes, blinking. I'm met with a sleeping Draco. He stayed...

As he stirs, I close my eyes and fake being asleep again. He sits up, awake now, and I fake starting to wake up. I slowly open my eyes and see him analyzing my face.

"Draco?" I mumble sleepily.

"I'm here, yes." He grabs my hand again. "How are you feeling?"

"Why are you here?"

"I worry about you, you're my friend after all. When I saw you stumbling into the castle I thought you were hurt or something." I nod, and sit up. The room spins for a brief minute and I feel Dracos hands on me, one on my back, and one on my shoulder.

"Easy, easy." He coaxes as he sits me up. He hands me a cup of water and I gladly sip it.

"Why me?" He looks at me confused. "I'm a Gryffindor, part of the golden group, grew up with your enemy. Why are you friends with me?" I ask, staring at my lap, scared for the answer.

"I don't know... you're different. I hate most Gryffindors, but you aren't bad. I find myself opening up to you, in ways I never have before. Maybe it's because I actually trust you. You aren't using me for my wealth... my name. Even now I'm saying too much." Draco sighs.

"That's because Im not using you. I have nothing to gain. I'm pure blood, inherited wealth, I don't need anything you have. I wanna be friends with you because you're you, Draco." I freeze and shake my head. "Malfoy. Sorry."

"When we're alone, you can call me Draco." I look up, surprised. "Only. When. We. Are. Alone." He puts emphasis on every word. It's kinda scary... kinda... attractive? Ugh. weird.

"Yes sir." I mock him. He rolls his eyes causing me to laugh.

The conversation continues until I hear rapid footsteps in the hospital wing.

"Wanted to let you know Harry's on his way, fast." Hermione pants. I nod, and Draco stands up, letting go of my hand.

"You don't have to go...." I say, grabbing his hand as he turns away and giving him a look.

"y/L/N, you know how Harry is." I sigh.

"It's like I can't have friends anymore." I'm not standing for this. "Stay. Please." I use my puppy eyes without realizing it. Draco sighs and pulls a chair up to my bed instead of sitting on the edge like before. Hermione walks over, seeing the serious moment is gone. Engaging in civil conversation with the two, I act surprised and smile at Harry when he comes running in.

"Harry!!!" He runs up and hugs me tightly.

"I was worried about you, love." He whispers into my ear. I pull away and see Draco staring at the floor.

"Thank you, all, for visiting me." I say, trying to break the tension.

"I know you aren't about to leave us out, are you?" George's voice catches my attention. Him and Fred walk in, smiling at me.

"Wouldn't dream of it!" I smile as they each hug me. Fred brought me a plate of food and I realize I'm starving. We start talking and slowly Draco gets less tense.

"Oh! Madam Pomfrey! Am I cleared to go now?" I ask.

"Yes, but please visit tomorrow so I can check on you!" She says, busy with another patient.

I stand up but feel dizzy. As the room spins and my body weight starts to fall, two different hands reach out to grab me, one on each arm.
