Draco grabbed my right arm and placed a hand delicately on my lower back. Harry grabbed my left arm.
"You okay?" They both say at the same time. I giggle and nod, standing up straight, but Dracos hand remains on my back, a worried look on his face.
"Guys, I'm fine," I laugh. "Why don't we head back to our common rooms?" I say, starting to walk towards the door.
Walking in between Draco and Harry, I make my way towards the staircases. When we reach the ones that diverge from the dungeons and Gryffindor common room, I slow my pace. The twins and Hermione give me a knowing look before walking up the stairs, Ron is oblivious as usual, but Harry pauses. If he stays, I can show him my loyalty!!! Perfect!!
"Malfoy!" I call as he starts to walk away. He turns to me and I hold my arms out. "I know you aren't leaving without a hug!!" I run to where he is about a foot or two away and throw my arms around his neck. His arms wrap around my waist and I get butterflies again. I pull away quickly remembering Harry there. I start turning back towards Harry, nervous about his feelings.
"Hey, take it easy, okay? I hope you feel better." Draco whispers, barely audible. " I mean... Don't do anything stupid. Or idiotic. Like usual." He tries to cover up.
"Will do. Thank you, Malfoy. I'll see you later?" He nods before walking down the stairs. I jog over to Harry and throw myself into him, my arms around him. He laughs and catches me, pulling me close.
"Hey, let's go to the fourth floor corridors, they're always empty." He suggests, pulling away from me. I smile and nod.
As we enter the corridor I am suddenly shoved against the cold stone wall.
"If I find out that something is going on between you and Malfoy... He might have a little hex for breakfast one day. You got that??" He questions, his eyes having a wild look.
"You really think I'd do that to you." I say in a low voice. Those green eyes fill with guilt and he lets go of me.
"I don't know... I'm just worried. It seems... weird." I sigh.
"Not exactly how I imagined you'd slam me against a wall but alright." I say, trying to lighten the mood. He spins around and stares at me.
"Y/n, what?" He asks.
"Just trying to lighten the mood..." I explain.
"Gotcha?" He's still confused. Ugh. idiot. I sigh and go to hug him. He didn't hug back at first but then gave in, and we just enjoyed eachother presence.
Later that night in the common room, Harry explains everything that happened in Hogsmead that day. Overloaded with information, I decide to go to sleep, feeling dizzy. After I say my good nights, I walk upstairs and lay down, the room spinning.
I don't even remember falling asleep, honestly.
As the sunlight pierces my eyes, I sit up. The room only slightly spins now.
"Feeling better?" Hermione asks, from the bed beside me.
"Somewhat." I stretch and feel my joins pop.
The next few weeks pass without a hitch, and before I know it, it's the day before Christmas holiday. I don't want to go back to the Dursley's yet, but I also don't wanna stay here especially with Sirius Black on the loose.
