Draco?? My heart soars at the name and I whip my head around to see him wearing his usual black suit. He's an inch or so taller somehow, and his hair is neatly gelled back.

"Dra-" I start to step forward and shout his name but a person grabs me and covers my mouth.

"Shh. Wait until after to say hi." Harry whispers. I nod.

"Come on. Let's go." We climb up onto the roof of Borgin and Burke's, where Draco was heading into. We see him from a window and I can't help but smile. He's looking at an old wardrobe, trailing his fingers along it gently.

"Hermione! He's still wearing the ring I got him!" I whisper and she smiles at me.

Ron's leg slips causing a roof tile to slip out and clatter onto the hard ground.

"Ron!" I whisper yell.

"Sorry!" As a man turns to look out the window we duck down below the side of the roof. The curtain snaps closed and we sigh and climb down.

"Let's go back to the joke shop. I wanna say hi to Draco and that's normally the way he leaves the alley." The others nod. Hermione stays with me while Harry and Ron go back into the twins shop to look around more.

He rounds the corner and a huge smile crosses my face. I see his shoulders relax slightly when he spots me and he smiles back. I can't help but run over and almost jump into his arms. He stumbles back a bit and holds me tight. I can feel his body relaxing into my hold and it's comforting. His smell is overwhelming and I missed it so much, the musky scent of cologne with a hint of sweet apples.

"Hey, you." Draco says quietly.

"I missed you!" I say as I pull away.

"I missed you too." He smiles but it falters when he sees Hermione behind me. She gets the hint and walks inside.

"Draco?" I hear his mother call as she rounds the corner. "Oh, there you are!" She sees me and smiles.

"Hello, Mrs. Malfoy! It's nice to see you." I go to shake her hand and she pulls me in for a small hug.

"You two, Y/n. You're one of Dracos closest friends so please, skip the formalities!" She says sweetly. She is nothing like his father, at least not to me. We small talk for a few minutes and I subtly lean against Draco, sensing his tenseness.

"Well, we better get going Draco." His mother says turning to him.

"Nice seeing you, Mrs. Malfoy!"

"You too, y/n." I hug Draco one more time before they walk away.

"I'll see you at school, Draco!" I say and he nods and sends me one more smile. I feel like i'm on cloud nine after seeing him again. I missed him dearly all summer.

"So what was Draco doing with that weird-looking cabinet? And who were all those people? Don't you see? It was a ceremony. An initiation." Harry theorizes as we sit on the train.

"Stop it, Harry. I know where you're going with this." Hermione defends Draco.

"It happened. He's one of them." Harry insists.

"One of who?"

"Harry's under the impression Draco Malfoy is now a Death Eater." Hermione explains.

"You're barking. What would You-Know-Who want with a sod like Malfoy?"

"He's not a sod! He's not like that, Harry." I add.

"Well, then what's he doing in Borgin and Burkes? Browsing for furniture?" Harry asks.

"It's a creepy shop. He's a creepy bloke." Ron says and I shoot him a look.

"Look, his father is a Death Eater. It only makes sense." I roll my eyes. "I need some air." We nod as the raven haired boy exits the train compartment.

"He's losing it Mione." I say lowly. She nods. Suddenly the car fills with a thick black smoke.

"What on earth?" I ask, coughing. As the smoke dissipates, Ron shrugs.

*HARRYS POV***
I was right. He is doing something suspicious. His talking with Blaise is giving me a lot of info.

"Draco. What's with you and that Y/n girl?" Blaise asks suddenly. Draco looks over to where I am hidden before answering.

"I dunno. We're just friends.. for now. Who knows, may get a nice bit of fun out of that one." He smirks and my veins fill with fire. He glances back towards me again but I know he can't see me. Maybe it's habit for him.

My knees are crammed, almost touching my chest. This luggage compartment is smaller than one would think. The train arrives at the station and I hear the doors open.

"You two go on. I wanna check something." Malfoy says as the others exit. He turns and closes all the curtains and locks the doors. I have a bad feeling about this....

"Didn't Mummy ever tell you it was rude to eavesdrop, Potter?" My stomach drops but before I can think he shouts again. "Petrificus Totalus!" My body freezes up and I drop to the floor with a hard thud. Kicking the cloak off of me, the blonde sneers down at me. "Oh yeah... She was dead before you could wipe the drool off your chin." He raises his foot up and kicks my nose, a sickening crunch fills the air and my face starts pounding.

"That's for my y/n. Speaking of which... she's not yours anymore, eh, Potter? Not Potters girl at all. Now I can make my move. Do whatever I want. I could break her heart, play with her feelings... get a nice fuck out of her. I'll leave you with that though, Potter. Enjoy your ride back to London." He spits at me before covering me with the cloak and walking out.

And so there I sit, petrified and in pain.

Brilliant.
